Jelly of that master... and frankly all these legit parts. Will be a hoot once it's done.

I learned some things from my last 4 Miatas.

The only thing not super legit will be the suspension setup for the time being. Well... it'll be one of the more super legit Budget Billy setups out there, but it'll still be stock MSM Billies for the time being.

The next big decision will be if i want to do a PNP megasquirt, or build a new barebones wiring harness.

FWIW, the Wilwood master is very reasonably priced. About the same cost as an MSM booster and 929 1" Master. The choice was pretty easy.

This is certainly taking a turn for the awesome.

I picked up a sorta rough 99 last weekend as a summer time toy and will be following closely, good work!

P.S. when you're done with the bp5a ecu, i'll probably be ready to take it off your hands...

I'll keep you in mind for the ECU. It won't be til fall/winter, though. I don't want the car down even for one day for a megasquirt install this summer. I just want to drive.

Well, if you'd stop buying Clubroadster swaggatron keys you wouldn't have this problem.

Truestory.jpg.

I'm more interested in putting together a fun car i like right now, then upgrading later and nerding out on what makes the car faster and all that jazz.

I'm going to buy a scale for my garage so i can track all the weight that comes out of the car.

No point in Xidas when you've got boat anchors for wheels.

Speaking of weight, I've been considering starting up a treasure coast hardtop group buy to split shipping. You could sell your oem top, pocket some $$$ and shave a few lbs.

Purple keys are for purple cars.

You should get one of these. Then zero out your purchase price selling all the awful things to M.net.

Any reason i would regret running NT01s instead of RS3/R1Rs?

I have both 205 NT-01 and 225 RS3. I regret nothing, though you will probably learn more on a tire that is not a R comp.

Here's the dilemma:

All in 225/45.

R1R
RS3
NT-01

Discount Tire has their sale thing going on and NT01s are the cheapest available right now. RS3s aren't available right now at all. R1Rs are available, about same price as NT01s.

Will the NT01s be any more prone to kill me in rain than the RS3s?

I'm trying to decide right now too. Tire rack has the RS3 available on the 23d, so I'll probably just wait until then.
