Tell me what to buy.
I asked this same thing in my build thread...

It's just to bad no one reads my build thread.

There's clearly pictures in this thread. Even one of Miata parts in my possession.

I laughed when Fae Fae got extremely mad when my thread got more views than his. Someone had to knock his bucket of fail aids off the top!

Water temp, Oil pressure, and wideband, right? If you were to pick three gauges for an n/a car, those are what you want? (Trying to just use a DIN panel.)

Or do i really want oil temp in there too, and get creative with wideband mounting?

I can make you an insert made of thick brushed aluminum if you want. I'm making one for mine, and it's turning out pretty well.

Wiff mountings for 3x 52mm gauges?

I haven't really gotten that far yet, to be honest. Gauges probably won't happen for a month or two, i just like planning in advance.

I had most of this car built in my head before i even bought it.

Sorta like this, but without the ABS part. We can configure it however you want.

Hrm possibru. You'd probably need your grubby little dick beaters on my car to do this because NB, right?

Right, although I have size large dick beaters.
Or you can just send me the measurements and we can add brackets later. It's not a big deal to cut it out a little oversized and trim it down as needed.

Gauges.. I'm going with AFR, Oil Temp, and Water Temp.
Ended up going with the Longacre SMI stepper gauges for the temps.

Low and behold, after ordering these based on my own independent research, I discovered that the 949 Mafia has been using them as well. Go figure. At least my compass still points FUNCTIONAL after all these years.

While some might consider them a bit pricey at $100 each, they offer all sorts of extras for that price. Like 2 stage warning lights already integrated. Or, perhaps all you need to know is 949 uses them.

Then again, I've got an NA so I can utilize the factory oil pressure gauge, freeing up the third gauge for oil temp. Any chance you can use the real NA sender with your NB gauge to do the same?

Yep those are the gauges i have on "the list" as well.

I can do the real oil pressure modification on an NB.

As stupid as this sounds, one of my concerns is how i'm going to pull water temp. I'm not a fan of having dead gauges in my OEM cluster, no matter how useless they are.

Though... i have one of those pimpy billet re-route spacers. I don't remember how many locations were on that. I need one for ECU, one for cluster, and one for gauge.

Go search my build thread for vei systems. Dual water/oil temp that fits in the stock water temp location. Under the radio is hard to see. Wideband in one of the vent holes.

Revlimiter is making me a gauge cluster with all the things. I don't want to lose any real estate for him.

I'm putting the gauges above the radio. Big difference, you know.

But really, the warning lights are what i'd mostly be using them for when actually on track.

Props awarded for your dedication to me.

Skou's has a total of three locations.
Heater core.
Factory sender.
Aftermarket sender.

Maybe you could add a bung at the OLD thermostat housing for your cluster?
That'll look really slick.
