I got your package today, thanks. Ironically enough, I can't replicate the brake problem I had with the old calipers. I was pretty dead-set on a problem with the master or the check-valve. I was able to get the 1/2-sweep pedal drop problem on the street consistently with the sport brakes, now its gone. I guess I'm going to throw those sport brake calipers in the trash rather than give them to my sister.

Yeah, we tried +36 8s and 9s, but the 40s eluded us. I'm going to either find a nice 4mm hubcentric spacer, or manufacture one myself for the +40 guys.

dtc-30 in the front and for some reason Gary/TDR bullied me into putting black on the rear. I may end up returning them and running dtc-30 all the way around because I have the brake valve all the way open and the rears never lock.

I opted for the same setup, ill be taking measurements before and after a two day event at Laguna in April.

IIRC, the willwood valve all the way in (tight) would ad more to the rears right? Maybe play with the valve a bit to see if you can get it a bit more neutral. Let me know how that works out for you.

I thought turning the **** counter clock-wise added more rear brake. Someone please tell me so I don't have to play trial and error at the track this saturday.

Turning the valve counter-clockwise will decrease the amount of rear brake. Think of it as "righty rear, lefty fronty", meaning righty is more rear, lefty is more front. This is on my Wilwood valve, if you have something else then ignore me.

#4 injector is leaking at the rail and I have to fix it after I fly home form Santa Fe tomorrow, then go to the track in Austin on the following day. Can I pull the rail without removing the '99 intake plenum?

Thanks,

3 12 or 14mm bolts IIRC, be sure to lube the new o-rings on the injectors upon reinstall.

Might wanna just replace all the o-rings while your in there.

I don't think I can get new o-rings over-night. I'm tempted to just leave it leaking so it doesn't turn into gushing the night before a road trip and track weekend.

Rob says he doesn't have any new ones. But he did say to take it to NAPA and select one of their generic o-rings to match that one. He's done that before with success.

Says he should have some older ones though. He'll check for them at lunchtime (he works from home) if you want.

That would be great. I am going to check them Friday morning before I leave for Austin.
