VEI gauges? I have the oil and water temp gauge and am reasonably happy. Just make sure that you ground them all well, and don't use red gasket maker on the sensors because that will affect grounding.

I left a few seconds out there, but it was kind of a rough weekend. I lost three gauges so that was in the back of my head, data didn't work until half way through Sunday, and I was a little stressed. I'm going to put some work into relaxing in the car, trusting my equipment, and looking at data this season.

Is it possible for you on Saturday do go out in the HPDE3 session and have an instructor out with you? Then on Sunday do the TT/TXMC? This way you have someone who might be able to point out some stupid things that you are missing that you are not?

I think so. Right now my plan is to buy a camera with money I don't have and take video and data of every session, then get friends to watch with me and point out my bad habits. I want a heart monitor too. I'm going to write "breathe" on a piece of tape and put it on the cluster. I think I can help myself quite a bit if I break down what I'm doing in each session and stop feeling like I have something to prove. I need to give myself some time to look at data and work on my state of mind. I know I'm fast as ---- on a couple tracks we run, and I know there are places to improve on every track...I need to take this to heart.

Should I be worried about a little oil on the compressor inlet if shaft play is fine? I can't remember. I have very slight axial play, and almost no radial play in the shaft.
The compressor housing looks almost polished by the wheel, but I can't make it touch with pressure from my finger. The little ring of dark color is not oil, I think it's dirt. The little drop of oil is right on the lip of the compressor.
Tell me to take some meds and relax.
