Hmm some of those welds dont look like they penetrated very much.

It is mostly tack welded together so far. I will go back with a bigger filler rod and make sure everything is good a bit later. As of right now though you can lift up the whole lamp by the top rod and there is no movement.

Nothing new has been done. I did get a second 6UL from Soviet this past weekend to be used for lamp #2. I am out of town the next 2 weekends and hopefully will be putting an offer in on a house this week. So my time to work on this is extremely lacking right now.
