I need to PM Brain and see if he has the pinout for this thing.

Once i get the pinout, i'll have it wired up pretty quick. I'll activate it when i have the time to do some driving and let autotune handle the differences.
Concealer check out my thread in the megasquirt section. They mention in there where to tap for MS. Although I have MS3x so it may be different. A start though. I'd tell you where but I haven't switched back to wiring mode yet.

Thanks Jeff!

I did PM Scott though, and it looks like the VICS is probably going to be in that orange cluster. I just need to look at the back of the board and see where it's going to.

Should be easy! I'll have it wired up next weekend probably. This weekend i'm changing fluids and hydraulics and just generally doing some cleaning.

Engine bay is kindof gross and i'd like to fix some of it.

I'm not super worried about it. The car isn't as nice as his to start with. :bowrofl

Anyways, yesterday i replaced the clutch master and slave cylinders (Filled with Amsoil Dot4), trans fluid (Amsoil MTG), diff fluid (Amsoil SVG), and did an oil change (Oem Nippon filter and Rotella T6). Also removed that horrible front license plate mount bracket thing that was on there.

Couple things: Hydraulics were in great shape, probably didn't need to replace them. Getting new fluid and good bleeding seems to have helped the clutch pedal slightly, but it's still hard to go into first and reverse, and the car is definitely creeping forward/backward when in either of those gears with the clutch pedal to the floor. Guess some more adjustment attempts are in order.

Replaced the shifter bushing with the 5X Racing bronzoil unit, feels great. All other parts were in great shape, save for upper shift boot. I currently have a full rebuild kit on order with Moss (backordered) so i may just go ahead and cancel it and grab the NC upper boot by itself. Turret was damn near dry, filled it up with Amsoil MTG. VERY happy with the improved shift feel, the 5X Racing bushing was well worth the $30.

Found some more parts on the car:
1) Bigass Racing Beat front sway bar with Racing Beat endlinks
2) Some sort of tubular rear subframe brace thingymabobber.

Suspension parts gathering is just about done, just need to find a set of ISC top hats still. Pictures to come as the rest comes in. Once assembled, will chuck on a set of 205/50 Star Specs and see what this is all about.

More suspension parts. Not shown: QA1 7" 550lb springs.

The other sleeve/spring/NB tophat setup is for my buddy that i'm converting away from Ricelands.

qa juans, nice to see you are going for the good "budget" route. Interested to see what you come up with and how it performs.

Well, here's the list:

1) MSM Bilsteins
2) Integra Speedthane bumpstops (a la FCM)
3) Chinese #swagyo sleeves
4) QA1 7" 550/400 setup (Have spare springs in various rates to test if these don't work well. 450, 325, 300, 425, 375, and probably a few others)
5) Bigass Racing Beat front bar with RB endlinks
6) 949 rear endlinks

And i'll run all that with ISC top hats once i find a good deal on them/give up and just buy them new.

Sounds awesome, don't forget NB tophats are a good upgrade for your NA as well. No doubt the ISC are better, but for the price the NB hats are hard to beat for a budget setup.

I've found that it's hard to find a set of NB top hats for less than $100 these days, people think they're gold.

If i'm spending $100 on NBs, i'll spend the extra ~$60 on ISCs. Especially since the MSM shocks are long.

But... if you know of a good deal on cheap NBs, i'm definitely down to give it a shot.

These are about the best price I've seen. Still should be about 1/2 price of ISC's.. i think.

Yessir, 10mm. Which is annoying, because it seems like all the awesome deals on FM/ISC hats are all hogged out for Konis. (Yours included, dammit!)

I need to send these back. I can get new NB hats, just the metal part, for cheap enough that it would put me about $130-140 total invested for 100% brand new stuff, but again, at that price... i'll just buy ISCs.

Yeah, I was just thinking I should move one set of the FM tophats over to the Silver car . . . but FCM Billies. Sigh.

I would think I could add a sleeve or something though.

I'm sure your honeysuckle is in the Mcmastercarr catalog. I was offered an old set of FM AFCO hats a week or two ago, but same deal.

I had a set of MSM bilsteins and I decided to get rid of them, the damper is just too long for an NA it seems.

I don't really know what I'm talking about, and I suppose if you already have them you might as well use them.

I was actually headed down the exact route you are on. I had used MSM bilsteins, I bought some ISC tophats, and was looking to get an Ebay c/o kit. In the end I got lazy, sold everything and bought some Vmaxxs instead.

The MSM bilstein combo probably would have been 100x better...

Going with the Vmaxx Extreme Track Edition y0 br0 edition was pretty tempting, honestly. I've been in a couple cars with them and was very impressed for the money.

The idea here is to spend less than half what those cost and see if i can end up with better performance. If i merely equal the performance, i'll still be happy.
