Found a NASCAR COT wing for $453 shipped. Are we as a community still assuming they are a great way to go or should i hold out for a singular wing. Is 453 a good deal on a cot wing.
This is the wing in question
Wing sold before i could get it

Havent been doing much over the summer to the miata mostly just enjoying it. I did have a side project of converting half the garage into a gym and a fence but I'm happy with the garage this way. Not shown is 410 worth of weighs and a bar.

Had a lot of fun enjoying the car this summer at the current power level. But the rain has showed up and it looks like it is here to stay for the winter. Got the car up on stands today and hope to be getting some big projects done over the winter.
what I'm hoping to complete this winter.
-remove and sell current turbo stuff
-the biggest and most exciting is get the built motor in with the EFR 6758 TS
-chop front cross bar and all new ducting
-barge boards, flat floor, diffuser, and fender aero
-new wiring harness set up for just what I need and want
-headlight delete
-hvac eliminate all but defrost (seen it done once on here)
and as she sits now

That's the plan. The flat floor is a very basic concept right now. Currently I'm ripping out the current 1.6 stuff and putting the stock stuff on to acquire funds for the build. I'm hoping to get the built motor in by summer but not holding my breath.
As far as the aero I'll start making mounts at work hopefully this week then I'll have to strip the interior again to use the existing frame rail bolts and start mocking it up using a sheet of thin plywood before I do alumalite. If it all works good I might make a few sets and post them I the for sale section.

We'll see. I sent my Artech manifold to be jigged to see if it was possible to create a topmount that'll let me keep my current downpipe. Easy button so I can keep my intercooler setup as well. It's still a mystery how it'll behave with such a housing. Also balleur head is potentially pending, so I may just refresh the current head and concentrate on procuring the KMiata trans adapter come tax season. Walking the failure points down the line, but it's cheaper an easier to replace axles until DSS axles ping my wallet.

Got a spare bumper today that I chopped to make an airdam. Also found a local guy that is selling the nb front end so I'll be picking up an 01 NB subframe, rack, control arms, spindles for 350 and set it up with the poly bronze retrofit. Also in the works I'm starting the design for a support bar to replace the chopped out front crossmember piece in front of the radiator.
other things in the works is new crossflow and precision intercooler, new ducting, alumalite barge boards and a projector retrofit

Did a bit of back and forth with Scaxx this week and this is what we came up with. Approximate weight is 5.75lbs and sits just off of the factory bumper. After work today I will print out a 1:1 drawing of the mounting plate for verification purposes and if all goes will will start getting some quotes for the mounts to get water jet and some drawings to our good friend Scaxx to bend up some tube.

Bumper attaches like normal and this sits just inside the bumper skin. I had a feeling you would ask haha. Im doing a couple last little changes to the mounting plate that i will verify when i get home then come Monday I am sending the plate drawings out to get quoted for waterjet. The tubes I will probably drop off to Scaxx later today for him to bend up.
PM or Email me your address and ill see how much it will be to ship out to you.

I kinda want something like that for my NB so I can have a bit more room to mount a few things under the bumper. I'm envisioning an oil cooler mounted behind that. So much more room!
Or I might just cut into the stock ****.
