Almost looks like I'm going backwards by making progress with the interior wiring.

So the uber BP has finally been delivered. Ended up rocking the 6758 twin scroll. For those of you who have been following this motors life in the build I'll keep updating with info. The motor was sold to a local friend and we should have dyno number this summer. He also has the ZF5 swap to a getreg diff so he should be able to put down some serious power.

Got my switch panel finished up and most of the custom harness done this weekend and starting to test everything before the final loom goes on. Still waiting on my kmiata manifold but then this thing should be able to at least fire up pretty quick!

Mostly a small photo dump. Got the wiring harness done and everything circuit tested. Had a bad new starter i had to swap out. All coolant lines done. Intake done. Fuel lines done. Just waiting on an intake manifold gasket that will show up today then I should be able to do the final buttoning up and hopefully get a first start this weekend.

Man reminds of S2000 days all over again. I've replaced for clients 3 engines from the AEM intake that has a similar low point. Sucks up water and boom. But I'll bet you have that figured out already.

Random, possibly dumb question. How did you get that filter to fit your intake piping?

I recently bought this same filter and IIRC the flange ID is 4". I'm trying to fit it to 3" piping. An old K&N filter i bought previously came with a few rubber adapter rings but they are too small for the 4" flange. I'm struggling to source any more of these rubber rings.

This is the filter I used. Its a 3" velocity stack to the big filter. Then custom intake piping obviously. But silicone intakes makes adapter couplings if needed.

Got the car on the ground and have ride height set. Went with 4.5" pinch weld height. Also got my super duper uber baller coolant overflow until I can get one made or have time to make one. The forum video uploader wont take the first start video off my phone but the car runs. Had an oem O2 sensor that wasnt communicating with the ecu so put in my old aem wideband and made up a mount for it real quick. That brings us to where im at now. Starting to build the exhaust this week and am hoping to have that done this weekend then ill be able to drive around a bit until I see the dyno in august.

Looking like it'll clean up pretty nice. For some reason I thought I was subscribed but just found this and got caught up
up.

Are you able to snap a picture looking straight down on the intake manifold on the corner of the manifold nearest the brake master cylinder? Trying to get an idea of how far it projects over the "shelf" in the engine bay for when I try to run some bars from the cage out to the shock towers.

Just a photo dump. These are the only shots of the exhaust I have but it sounds good and not ricey at all. Ducting is pretty much all done other than an extra rear mount. Valve cover is in the mail so I can close the hood. Only things left is to finish programming the dash before dyno time end of september.

I cleaned up the build thread, refund was given. If someone is unhappy with a sale from this forum we have a iTrader section that you can leave feedback on the seller. That is the correct place to do it, not cluttering up a build thread. We added iTrader something like a decade ago to give a place to review people and their sales.

UPDATE. I drove the miata around the block. I may or may not get dyno tuning and an alignment before summer. Lithium micro battery is junk and needs replaced and I need to wire all the dash sensors or learn how to program CAN. The car is definitely way more of a rattling stiff thing than I remember but I have been spoiled driving the blue smirf around. But yeah might actually have a trackable car this year.
