sixshooter, thanks for the info

RX-8’s are cheap in Europe. They go for around 2K$ so there’s good change to find them in salvage yards. I have to keep my eyes open.

480$ for 55K 6speed. not a bad price here middle of nowhere right next to soviet union

Hi mate, did you fix your oil starvation issue under heavy braking?

My engine has one of these in the sump and I haven't experienced the same issue:
Maruha oil pan /baffle

That guy Saji really seems to know his stuff!

Hee-yo bitches!

Time to start preparing car for new season. This years plan:
- New sprung clutch. Probably FM lvl2 happymeal
- BFG rival R15 225/45
- EV14 1300cc injectors
- sport rear brake adapters + new discs
- Hawk DTC-60 brake pads to all corners



Get twin disc clutch they said. it will be fun they said

New EV14 1300cc/min injectors arrive today



Decide not to invest 900$ for ID1300 and instead go for EV14 from Finjector. I paid $500 for a set. Not bad



Next in to-do list is to fabricate thermostat housing for re-route spacer and installing FM2 lvl2 happy meal

FM 10.3lb flywheel is in



...and the lvl2 clutch. I know this is going to protect my gearbox better as I had same sprung clutch disk with my previous lvl1 clutch setup



Apparently my EV14 injectors are with JETRONIC plugs and not the USCAR ones that I thought. Now I have wrong adaptors goddammit

so will you be detuning to a level the clutch will hold? pretty sure it won't last long with your current power level

Well, Harald (hf-mx5t) has run his FM lvl2 with 400whp few years before it began to slip And by look of his FB page he now has new FM lvl2 clutch and more than 400whp
