Because it's not too expensive, it will help me accomodate the fuel pressure sender, i have time, i'm pretty sur i'll benefit from it preformance wise, and i'm on it, i'm doing injectors, fuel pump, so why not?

Well if you have the money then yea for sure. I was just curious but overbuilding is a good thing so your doing it right at least!

Walbro 255HP

turbofan 01-07-2013 07:08 PM

First: Great build. Impressive attention to detail, and you're really really doing it right. Nice job!!

[Minor threadcrap]

May I just point out... I've noticed that most people here on MT.net call the walbro pumps 190HP or 255HP. It's actually LPH, or litres per hour. So it's a 255lph pump, not a 255HP pump which would get confusing.

Thanks man!

But yeah i think this stands out for High Pressure.
It's a GSS342. Wich, if i'm not mistaken, supposed to be the high pressure version of the 255lph.

damn double post crappy work internet garbage...

3rdCarMX5 01-10-2013 07:26 PM

I got the 775 FIC injectors. Besides the fact it took them 3 weeks to get me the adapters, they are great. Mine were really closely matched. Entered the numbers they sent into TS and they idle better than stock.

You need to majorly redo some fuel settings though.

:bowrofl:
"Functionning" tought it would be a bit quicker by doing maintenance and format.

But it's dangerously slow haha, so i'm looking for a used laptop!

thenuge26 01-15-2013 09:52 AM

Try Ubuntu on it. Tunerstudio will run in Linux from what I understand.

If you can install XP, you can figure out Ubuntu. And it will make the laptop MUCH faster. Maybe not fast enough, but hey it's free why not give it a shot.

This x1000. So much less overhead with Ubuntu. Those Dells are marginal at best for XP, I believe they were designed to run Win2000

If you didn't have to pay Canada-Tax, I'd sell you a cheap ass used IBM T40/41/42/43. I literally dumpster'd 15-20 Dells of that same generation in June of last year. I hate those damn things.
