I've no been following what you speak of with trump and the EPA, though I did look it up and it sounds like the EPA wants to set emissions standards for the entire nation? That seems impossible to do in rural areas where we don't have the resources to enforce that kind of nonsense. Not to derail your thread, your car is awesome and I'm glad it's working properly for you!

Well, the EPA already does that which is why all of our cars have 50-state legal emissions equipment. The thing is that CA and now other states are trying to supercede the EPA and set even stricter rules. Like having to only use CARB-approved replacement parts or checking software during routine emissions tests and crushing non-compliant cars or forbidding them to use on the road in the state etc.

Nice man, almost looks like you might have been able to catch him on the top end but the race way too short.
I find it funny, the older I get most of my favorite super cars growing up are no faster than my miata is now. Particularly at altitude!

I haven't looked yet (shame on me), but, are there any particular circumstances that cause the idle issue? Mine has an issue with idling on a hot-restart. I.E. I go into the post office, pick up some packages, and come back out and it wont idle for a while. I tracked mine down to heatsoaking IAT sensor (it's threaded into the cold side of the IC), after sitting the IAT's will read ~20* higher until it gets some airflow and everything cools down, then it idles fine again.

I will seriously paypal $20 to anyone who can help me with my damn idle. Most of the time it idles strong and well but every once in awhile it just dies and will not idle for anything. Even when restarting I have to give it throttle to keep it from dying until it decides to idle right again. I attached three logs, the first two it dies at the end but the 3rd one it just idled for a long time no problem.
