The triple is such a sweet motor!
Also, Aidan, you said the same thing in the other thread. Still not sure what you mean. You mean you claim the right to crash my bike first? You claim the right of being the cause of my first crash? You claim being the first thing I crash into?
WHAT ARE YOU DIBSING???

Well, you break it you buy it -- you know how it goes.
It'll spit you off the back pretty quick if you're not careful... assuming this one runs as strong as the '06 I rode a couple days ago.

Sunday's autocross was a blast. Porsche Club. Ended up 6th fastest time of the day out of 79 entrants. I got beat by one Porsche driven by two different drivers (Cayman GTS on ho ho's), two other Miatas, and a friggin' Civic. Some fun stuff out there. I should have been faster, though.
Pics!
Probably my favorite photo. Love this silly thing.
Gotta look where I want to go!
Oregonmon's car. He got the second fastest time of the day. NA6 with VVT swap, MCS coilovers, Rival S tires, and a damned good driver.
Yank's beastly NA. FE20 swap, built, EFR6758, and too much power for this course. Fun to watch, and sounded badass though. Notice the smile -- that's what we're here for I suppose.

Aidan posted this video some time ago in the asshattery thread. I was re-watching it, and realized that I also am sliding through the corner ahead of him. Kinda fun to watch! I remember this moment now that I see me sliding.
Fun times.
Fun times.

Put Swift Spec R lowering springs on the Stook. Dropped a wee bit in the front, and more in the rear.
Before:
Then...
After:
And a gratuitous interior shot from just after I cleaned it a few weeks ago...
Would like the front to be a bit lower but whatever. Drives so, so much better. The springs seem to match the Koni STR.T shocks very well, much better than the stock springs.
Don't plan to do much else to the car 'cept supercharge it in a year or so. And keep drooling over that damned Ceramic ND on our lot.
