Hey all, not much of an update. Some minor things have been knocked out, still just plugging away at it. Harvest is coming up so work has been getting a lot busier. My hopeful ETA is to have it done by this time next year.
What has been done;
-car is stripped to bare metal
-transmission tunnel has been cut
-shifter hole for 4 speed has been cut
-I added a bar that runs the width of the car on the inside. Imagine where the stock front seat mounts where. Those have been removed and a 1 1/2" bar has been added. It ties into the rocker panel on both sides as well as into the door bars. This is my way of killing several birds with one stone. This provided a prefect way to mount the transmission, it allowed me to build a driveshaft loop over the front u-joint, it serves as my seat mounts, crotch belt mounting location, and it ties the car together right in the center.
-bought a rotisserie, just got the car on it the other day
-doors, fenders, and hood have been mounted and aligned in preparation for me to build the front bumper skin mounts.
-steering shaft has been made
-pedals are fully hung in the car
I just moved the car around in the shop and its buried under 100 pounds of ****. But I will try and get some pictures.
The short term goal is to get it turned on its side, put some sort of undercoating on the bottom then at least get primer on it before harvest starts. If I can get the car painted that would be a huge added bonus!

We got it repainted by a body shop in Columbia, SC that donated the paint and labor.
The car looks sweet. Now we just need to get it running and and add a few things.
The car is just intended for autocross and HPDE, so no longer restricted by Legends regulations.

Update...
Harvest is over () so I have been slowly getting back to work on the car. Unfortunately the car was stuck out in the trailer for more space while I was working so much, and now its spot in the shop has been filled with shelving so I decided to start building the headers and exhaust. It's a bit tedious having to walk out to the yard, bolt stuff up, mark it with a sharpie, walk back inside, tack it, walk back and retest... But I have one side 95% done, I just ran out of filler rod. Tomorrow I am going to start tackling the drivers side. Once that is done I am stuck waiting again until I can get the car out of the trailer.
I have decided to have the chassis and rollcage powder coated. So me finishing up all the little things will be the next to do, then it's off the powder.
** on a side note, I bought this right before harvest, so it too has been robbing me of some of my free time. First expensive thing I have bought brand new, it was neat riding off the lot with no miles on it. First track day is Sunday at Thunderhill 2015 30th AE ZX6R header, flashed ECU

Yooooo... Here are some updated pictures. My girlfriend and I got our first house January 1! So with the move and all that non sense the beginning of the year was slow working on the car. But I have been getting more and more checked off my list without adding too much more.
Almost done scrapping the tub of all the seam sealer and undercoating. I cheated and bought a rotisserie so I wasn't laying on the ground. Got a few more things to weld up, like all the holes in the fire wall, finish my seat mount, then I am dropping it off for a final sand blast and powder coat! Then it's time to wire, plumb, reassemble!
The last major thing I need to do before powder coat is remove the transmission tunnel. I am going to build a new one out of aluminum or some other material. The one in the car is just too haggard from trying to fit momos, plus all the stock holes, plus plus plus lol
Slowly getting there
