Was this HOD? We work with them and can pass on your feedback.
Also, I think 20 psi is too high of a warning, we track oil pressure with our aim, and have it flash red at us below 10, but that’s with a BP and now ecotec, not an LS with known oiling failures.

Thanks for the support guys. It means a lot.
Brad was kinda my MT.net Circle of Life™ but...well, that has gone rather poorly. Still definitely looking forward to WRLS and seeing everyone there, while the track is great, the friends 100% make that event what it is. I think I am gonna take a bit of a break and work on the house. I've got to replace some fascia boards, paint at least one side of the house, and I'd really like to do some stuff to the shop. I think some of that work might be a little bit of a breath of fresh air.
It was with TSS, I've enjoyed their events for the most part, that was my first real gripe. I had thought about setting the light a little lower, but I wanted to know if I was seeing decent dips in oil pressure during cornering/braking like they're known for vs a "****'s fucked right meow" light. I finally set up a switch for logging this year and I was planning on logging a lap or two in my fourth session so I could get a better idea of what the oil pressure was doing. But unfortunately, I didn't get out for a fourth session. I know the answer to the problem, unfortunately, it's another $3-4k that I don't really want to attempt to justify at this point. Certainly not this summer at least.

Good luck and hope it works out.

Yeah, kinda got the "not looking at you" thing going right now. Sorry to hear your trackday went similarly, hopefully there's minimal damage.
Currently getting caught up on front/rear bars that Mat and I have been making and then I'll be spending half the weekends working on the house and the other half working on the BMW.
At least I got some pictures from the few sessions I went out?

The Ridge is epic for high speeds. Our 180hp ecotec Miata is almost hitting 7000rpm in 5th gear with a 5spd/4.1 combo. Car looks good, that front end is begging for at least an ebay GV lip or an airdam.

I should definitely be doing something about the front end, it's getting pretty damn light at that speed. I've been telling myself I won't do any performance related upgrades until I have a better handle on the car and start bringing my lap times down. I'm still pretty inconsistent at this stage, partially due to traffic, but mainly just me as a driver. I'm pretty confident in low 50s at least with the car as it sits, I'm still leaving a lot of time on the table all over the place.
Next trackday (not sure when that is, hopefully before wrls) the plan is to work out how bad the oil situation actually is. Oil was only 3/4 up the stick so I'll start at totally full and then maybe add a tiny bit extra depending on what I'm seeing on the log to see what if that helps. Maybe I jumped the gun a little with my light, which seems to be your guys' opinion. I'll get more data next time.
Also lol, but yeah, LS kinda makes for better gt car engine than a track car. The power is certainly fun when it's working right though. Also the noise of an LS is certainly better than the fart of a BP hahaha

You're probably right, my current plan is to try to get it to at least one more trackday before WRLS. My dad and I are digging into the shop rewire this weekend, so I know that's gonna eat quite a bit of time/money. I'm planning on logging most of the time and adding a bit of extra oil. At the very least I can confirm there is a problem and I'm not just acting on a confirmation bias from reading about all the oil problems in LS motors.
I pulled the clutch pedal last night (easier said than done) There were a few things going on here. For one, I don't think the pedal needs to actually be reinforced. When I actually took a look at it, the stock pedal is quite beefy. What was happening is it was hitting the gusset between the side and the firewall and kind of glancing off of it. So it was loading it in a weird direction, add that to the added force of the clutch and you get a bent pedal right below the pivot point.
The next thing that was happening was that the jam nut on the clevis had loosened and the rod had threaded into the clevis, therefore limiting travel. This was probably my real problem.
However, as I discovered when I finally got the clevis pin out, I had either lost/forgot the sleeve that goes around it (most likely) or it was destroyed at some point. Fitment was like a hotdog in a hallway and it ovaled out the hole. You can also see where the rod had threaded all the way into the pedal and was wearing away at the pedal as well.
So, like most things, comes down to user error. I have a new pedal assembly, although I'm probably just going to replace the pedal since getting it out is a bitch. I should have a new clevis/pin coming and then I just need to repair the threads on the rod and it should be good to go again.

There's a bushing on the pedal stub you might've missed - 41-023A is a part number (072741023 is another that looks correct). Our LFX started being squeaky despite being lubed, I yanked the one off my LS3 and got a new one from Mazda.

Yep, that's the piece I was thinking I lost/forgot. It definitely wasn't there. Sounds like Shandelle has plenty of new clevis' so hopefully, I'll have it back together in a week or so. I flat spotted my fronts pretty well, so I need to try the ole burnout method to bring them back to round again. If not, I have an extra set of tires that I can throw on.

*Narrator* "He did not have the car moving that week"
Since the last update, I've worked a lot on the shop and a little on the car. My dad came over, we knocked down all the internal walls to the shop, re-wired it, and ran lights. The original plan was just to rewire some stuff and hang some lights. But with what I had in mind for power needs, the main power wasn't going to cut it. Long story short, about a month later and I had opened up a ton of the shop by knocking the internal walls down and I now have 3 circuits for running around the shop. A general welder/240v circuit. A big compressor circuit and lift circuit. Both of those aren't being used right now, but will hopefully be in the future. Instead of the three shitty lights that the shop used to have, it now has 22 4' LED fixtures. ****'s bright.
The last week I've been buttoning up some of the electrical in my car and fixing the clutch pedal. I also changed the diff and tranny fluid. I brought the car to work today and got an alignment in the meantime. I'm gonna pick up an extra set of front pads, and I ripped off some of the tread on the tire when I flat spotted them, so I'm not sure if I should run them or not. I do have an extra set of tires though, so swapping those onto the fronts is an option. But other than that, the car is ready to go to Laguna Seca. Crazy right? A week+ in advance? Wack.
I do have some various things to do on the truck before I head down, like fluids. I also picked up a roof top tent from work for suuuper cheap. So I need to build a rack in the bed to hold that. But yeah, I think I finally didn't bite off more than I could chew in the weeks leading up to Laguna Seca. Feels good man. I also bought scales, and I'll be weighing cars at laguna seca for $20.
Oh, Brad is back in the shop (since I can now super comfortably store three cars) and my main miata priority once I get back. Excuse the mess, still throwing stuff away and going through things. I also still have 10 of the 22 lights to hang up lol
