Probably a pretty quick Mustang.
Got some guest footage of my car. On the 2nd pass, Mark's Fury has a head start, so the sound of my car comes through nice and clear. Never realized how good it sounds.

Went to an autocross for a couple of hours. It was fun, I was complimented by others on my driving. I was happy with how my car performed. Was on CrAp91 getting ready for the dance, started the dance yesterday. Will post the ritual pic in a few days. This freaking car is so amazing, I swear!

Finally got a chance to work on this thing. All monitors complete ✅

Also made this little cover for the oil return cap.

Maybe I need to paint it flat black, or perhaps it is better to have the drain cap showing. I can't decide what to do, otherwise it's ready.

Passed without issue. Maybe a little more HC than before, a little oil to be expected after all those 11 second passes. I painted the cover flat black, probably should have scrubbed some of the rubber out of my rear wheel wells in hindsight. Hindsight is always so much clearer, oh well they didn't seem to notice.

I might wait until I actually get my sticker before I put it back. Maybe use my obd scanner to learn a few tuning tricks while it's stock. Or maybe I should just put it back now, only a gallon or 2 on crap 91 left in the tank. I can't decide, the thing is so slow like this, it's almost intolerable.

So nice living in rural Texas. We no longer have inspections. We do what we want.

Heh. You might want to use something other than keys to cover up the address in the photo -- it would not be hard to cut a schlage or kwikset key blank to match the ones on your keyring from that photo.

Thanks Ian!
I hadn't considered that.
Fortunately I run some very good kill switches, so I will be there momentarily if I hear one of my cars cranking. I pity the fool.

Went to the racers potluck tonight. Always a very fun event with tons of delicious food and tool raffle. The picture sucks it was a little too dark, but I got the best VIP parking ever, facing downhill on turn 1, literally on the track, parked there for about 4 hours. I was telling my wife how Ed and Sonny have driven me through there at 120 mph.

I've had garages before, but this takes the cake.

That's a cool place to park as long as the track is cold haha

You oughta take that land yacht for a couple laps out there!

I was thinking the same things. Maybe if you guys were the only ones on track, it might be ok, but I've seen half million dollar cars bounce off that very tire wall.
I asked if we were allowed to go for a few laps? Was told that was the best way to make sure they schedule us zero drag races for 2027 and beyond.
The land yacht would be pretty fun tho...

Well, I tried to go to Redding for a big money weekend, but didn't make it. I always knew this was a possibility, at least it happened in cruise instead of WOT, very lucky.

So I tried to source some nice little bulkhead connectors, only to find the US suppliers are all out of stock. So I made some myself, might try to sell a few on eGay, Fakebook market, ect... Made one style I am happy with, and another for fussy people who want a seal on both sides of the tank.

Cuz, fer $3 a gallon I need to get the E85 machine working again ASAP.

What size of pump was that? 300 LPH?

Bulkhead connectors look solid.

Damn, I have one of these sitting in a box somewhere, waiting to be installed. https://www.bmotorsports.com/shop/pr...oducts_id/5164

I got it when I was having fuel pump issues, but its importance dropped after I found the root cause had nothing to do with this connection. I still want to install it, but I need to find a cheap fuel tank lid/hanger thing to install it in.

I run a DW300, supposedly 340 liters per hour at 3 bar. Here is the full glory of my fuel supply. That is PA12 hose, been in there for years now, looks and feels like new. Holley hydramat sock has been great too. Oops, how did that guy get in there.
