It looks like TunerStudio only allows +-20 degree offsets in 36-2 mode. If you change to Toothed Wheel mode you can manually set up the delay teeth parameter for course timing adjustment.

Just have your woman stand on the brakes in 4th gear and use a breaker bar.

Leafy wishes he was my woman.

Going to try to borrow a friends hopefully stronger impact. Breaker bar was unsuccessful. According to my trusty HF calipers, it might have moved .001".

Woohoooo, it runs! Started first try after fixing the trigger wheel..................

It idles quite high at like 1500-1600. I assume that's solely related to the injectors, and having to adjust everything for them, since otherwise it should idle the same as the old engine. Tune attached if anyone is able to have a look. I'm sure it's all sorts of fucked.

Awesome that it works now. High idle could be tune or vacuum leak.

I quickly looked for vacuum leaks, and didn't find anything glaring. Going to replace the few vacuum caps that are on the IM just in case.

I just went through the tune on my desktop, comparing every single setting to the 01-05, and 96-97 base maps from trubokitty. So much seems fucked with what mine was at...for whatever reason, I have no idea. It's originally from Rev. I feel like half the stuff was disabled that shouldn't have been. A lot of it idle/fuel related.

New Tune: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1cM...XJkJWBKS1p4Hvn

Won't get to try it until Saturday morning. I am going to get it on Flatout Motorsports dyno sometime next week. Test and tune on the 7th, first event on the 8th. Crossing fingers and toes.

Non engine related stuff left to do: add another splitter brace. Clean up wing mounts. Make some real end plates for the wing. Win?

If you have a MSLabs ecu then tunes probably won't match a lot. Mostly because he does a lot of things that are a little different then a stock MS3X.

Interesting. To the point stuff from those maps won't work? Curious if someone has time to compare those two that I linked above. First one seems obviously fubar to me.

You can't load the tunes from Trubokitty. I think inputs and outputs will be all different.

Oh, I didn't change inputs/outputs. Just values...things like the cranking/priming pulse, warmup enrichment, idle control, etc...basically everything that could be causing it to idle high.

Like one of the idle settings (I forget which) was commanding the IAC to be wide open on first start on first start...which could explain the spike to 2000+ rpm when it first catches.

Everything is different, you need the entire tuner studio project from the correct year for your car from the correct builder of your MS and the correct firmware..

I have worked with several, and none of them are compatible, without the correct project.

IAC has different multiplication values, it's complex, can be done but better just getting the correct project and tweaking that.
