ALREADY OUT OF HAND !

Thanks Newaza that turbo was working very hard to get that mph

as usual its already got a little out of hand so ive ordered

- New turbo manifold from Nitro Dann
- Catch can from Dann too
- .86 Rear housing
- New watercooled 40mm wastegate
- Trackdog racing cover
- Beat rush Diff brace
- Shockworks coilovers with drag settings ( they will come and help me dial it in at the track too really good blokes )
- Cast 5 bolt to 3" v-band adaptor
- 4" bellmouth and 6 "cone filter
- Turbo beanie
- 5 Bar boost sensor
- 1550 cc injectors

just waiting for everything to arrive and then i can set it up and clean the car up i might also send the car off for some body repairs and paint the hardtop and essentially finish it so i can move onto other projects.

Getting there..

So oil drain and hotside pipe is done

I just need to have the 4" intake welded iam half way though the heater return pipe which is over the manifold i decided to combine the engine damper brace and the heater return for something different. Once thats all done iam going to tackle the dump and then i also need to fab up a heat shield as the TDR blanket is not going to work.

Almost there.

started and ran yesterday sounds very different no leaks so far and no knocking with the exhaust which was my main concern.

things left to do

- remove water meth
- remove sound deadening factory and the stuff i added 3 years ago
- change to 5 bar map once everything is happy
- change to 1500cc injector once 5 bar map is right
- fluid change on Auto
- external gate pipe

then its off to be retuned and go race

Updates

So the car was done ready just waiting on my tuner to get back from being away and i decided to change things up ive always regretted my ECU choice and one of my good friends just became a Haltech dealer so its getting and Elite 1500 and i thought well why the hell not use Drive by wire with the future sight of having a very good traction control system run by the Haltech and bulk sensors so i can make the car consistent.

Bought so far

- Elite 1500 and premium harness
- Bosch 68mm throttle
- Bosch 68mm flange weld on
- Ford Falcon peddle
- Haltech 4 bar map

Still need to get

- fuel and oil pressure sensors
- speed sensors for tailshaft and front wheel

The first piece of the puzzle it was hard getting the angle right but feels like a stiffer stock pedal

Got heap done just taking my time to plan out wiring and removing any previous unused wires from last ecu and any other addons no longer needed.

Decided to change my plenum to a Skunk2 unit aswell so need to get onto that and i need to get the motivation to remove my gearbox as i have finally convinced my auto builder to let me have a transbrake as we can control it with the haltech so i can get the perfect launch.

Very nice build Sir.

Are you still rocking the stock axles and differential? If you are I'm very curious to see how they hold up leaving on the trans brake and big boost. Or are you going to limit boost on the launch and ramp it up? When I built the jatco I'm running I decided not to do a brake after seeing Pats carnage.
One last question. Do you know the size of the intermediate servo assembly your builder used on your transmission?

So far so good with the Stock axles and 3.63 Torsen two diff auto seem to keep them alive but with a transbrake im not so sure. the car is pushing the front ad the drags at the moment so i really need to do something. We will start fairly soft low rpm and low boost and work our way up and im not so sure about whats in the box thats what my auto guy looks after that all i know we might experience an issue with transbrake and case twist and if thats the case i cant use it.

Engine bay looks so awesome. Make me want to go mess with mine to clean it up.

GL with the stock axles and diff. I was twisting off MSM parts with less power than you're making, you will certainly be able to launch it hard.

Update....

Engine bay about 80% done ive tried to make it as neat as possible with boots and heatshrink.Next is to order the Skunk 2 manifold and wait for it to come in

The only other issue iam having is finding cost effective NB2 hubs so i can use the wheel speed sensors for traction control later

And just spoke to my tuner about the Haltech transbrake apparently it isnt savage unless you make it that way as you can tune it ( cycle the solenoid) so it keeps my driveline in one piece.
