So my understructure of the hood is all compromised from the singulär vents. Inevitably the buttons of glue delaminated and my hood started warping at its corners and has become quite flimsy. Today, I installed some Quik-Latch pieces to aid as redundant hood fasteners and doubly to keep the hood from popping up over the fender lines. This will be until I get my hands on a replacement hood. I like the singular vents, but would need to have a more appropriate way to reinforce the structure.
I have the same issue with the vents to my hood, i added the other style quick latch in the center but also im on the hunt for a nother smurf hood. Been a while since ive looked at your build and even longer since i have updated mine. Still need to, maybe today while im at work. Non the less love your smurf as much as i love mine!

Yea the next hood, I'm probably looking at the lockable Quik-Latch in place of the Aerocatch.
I just need to figure out if I want to keep the singular style vents, or go a different route. How are people reinforcing the under structure??
Appreciate the words.

OST. I am going to be adding vents of some sort over this next fall/winter so any answer would be of interest to me as well.
So i havent done it yet due to extreme laziness in the hood rattle, but the idea we came up with was to get body putty from online or a collision shop and reattatch the braces whats left back to the hood.
