Skunk2 intake manifold and a huge 74mm Skunk2 throttle body.

Flange to replace B18C1 flange on the manifold.

AEM smart coils.

A whole box of TechFlex and heat shrink to make the wiring a little prettier.

2000 degree ceramic coating.

3.5" exhaust from Abe at ArTech

Hotside parts together.

Mocked up. As you can see, the ABS line wont fit in the stock location. Also I had to bend the lip down on the body.

A nice shot of the engine bay now that the car is back on the ground.

All loaded up to spend the next few weeks in my buddy's garage so I can install the lift in my garage of my new house.

The overnight parts from Japan come with some interesting stickers.

It barely hits the abs lines.
If I didn't have abs it would fit perfect.
I'll just reroute the brake lines, and all will be good.

Very nice. Basically what I want to do except with Inconel exaust valves. What will you rev it to and what do you think about the whole "VVT intake cam will explode at 7500rpm" hysteria?

We'll see if it explodes at 9k

I wanted to inconel ex valves, but I already have 2500 in the head alone. That would bump it over the 3k mark.

I've personally tuned two high-powered VVT engines. One is at about 350whp, the other is ~460whp. The 460whp was beaten to death during tuning to make sure everything would go smooth once delivered to the owner, as he is some 500 miles away (which is generally considered very much "far away" here in Greece), and it is alive and well up to today.

Yeah I couldn't find any solid evidence of blown up intake camshafts. Really, I just want to know what kind of damage it causes. Is it "you gonna need a new head" or "you just need a new cam".

Greeks and Faeflora now blowing theirs up is definitely a huge ++++++++. I've seen personally how Fae drives and the Greeks are just in a league of their own
