My wife's parent's neighbors:

Husband stubs toe. Gets infected. Get Gangrene. Amputate foot. Amputate leg. dies. All in the span of a week or so.

"One second, lemme just put my FULL BODY WEIGHT ON A HAIRLINE FRACTURE IN MY ANKLE..."

It's a GPS boot. Anyone who has fractured a bone knows how you'd need crutches and wouldn't be putting much of any weight on it. Fucking stupid.

For Joe Perez:

11/4 4:23am ET CNN.

RYAN YOUNG: You know, everything seems to be going -- you know what, the one thing that was kind of confusing at one point, we saw the numbers spike for a second and then we saw half the numbers disappear. What we're told is they do some checks and balances here. So, when they were able to see some of the numbers matching up in a certain way, they were able to pull some of the numbers back based upon the initial tabulation. But those are the smaller counties. So, none of those issues that we heard about earlier throughout the state have sort of shown themselves here at all. That's the good news. Chris, there's been no sort of hiccups so to speak. So, we're just waiting for the big dump that's happening right now.

CUOMO: Irregularities, that's the ugly word that we try to avoid in these situations. I don't want to hear about irregularities.

Joe Perez 12-02-2020 05:13 PM

The Washington Post: bringing us the stores that matter. (Also also letting auto-correct do too much of the work.)

What is with the lefties and those boots? Hillary had one, McCain had one, I think Burnie had one too.

Ah yes. That "lefty senator" we know and love, John McCain.

He sure as shit wasn't a conservative.

I don't really have anything constructive to say in reply to this.

The Washington Post continues its pro-Democrat political agenda:

(Taps earpiece. "What's that? The facts don't support my assertion? Well damn the facts. I'm out to prove that the Washington Post has a strong pro-Democrat bias and a political agenda, not to acknowledge the truth!")

Well, if it's predetermined, that means there is nothing we can do about.

So as my grandfather used to say:

"If there isn't a solution, there isn't a problem."

Ok, I gotta ask, what's a tin-hater?

Good paper, though. It's unsurprising that the President has behaved this way since election night, though I do respect the degree of accuracy to which certain elements of Trump's personality and response were predicted.

sorry: Tin-foil Hatters.

Remember that time -- just over 4 years ago -- we were told Trump was colluding with the Russians to undermine the election, one example being hacking into the DNC servers and releasing the documents to WikiLeaks? Sorry, not told, but forced to beleif it as gospel despite literally no evidence/proof.

That was cool.

But there is no deep state, and elections can't be fixed.

Gotcha. Thought I was missing out on some new meme. The word "Tin" is sometimes used in science-fiction tropes as a derogatory term for robots, human replicants, or similar. Figured maybe the NPC meme had evolved, such that the grey people were now understood to be robots, and any "woke" person who disagreed with them was a tin-hater. (Since it's not ok to hate people or things anymore, unless they voted for bad orange man.)

So, in two consecutive elections, first the Democrats and now the Republicans have put forth essentially the same unsupportable claims as the only possible explanation for why their candidate narrowly lost, to an opponent who is obviously recklessly unqualified and thought to be un-electable.

Kinda pulls back the curtain a bit, doesn't it?

Like, from the point of view of a person who is neither a Democrat fanboy not a Trumper, it's becoming more and more difficult to discern any meaningful distinction between the two major parties.

Braineack 12-03-2020 12:54 PM

lol at un-supportable.

In AZ, they tried doing to absolute minimum possible based on the baseless claims; they audited a random sample of 100 ballots and discovered: 1 Trump vote simply excluded, and 1 Trump vote was simply given to Biden.

So in a fucking miniscule sample we found: (1) Switched vote Trump to Biden, (1) vote failed to record Trump vote, (1) misallocated vote to Biden.

this is a 3% error just based on ONE method of illegitimacy; there's about a dozen other methods called into question by thousands of eye-witnesses...

Why is it so controversial to suggest to have an election verified for accuracy?
