What is it with Brainey and "oof" all of a sudden? Did someone just recently teach him that?

dieselmiata 11-19-2020 05:59 PM

Ya'll actually buying this fraud stuff? Republican judges tossing these suits out left and right, Trump's own lawyers can't provide any evidence and are withdrawing so they don't lose their law license...

Is this all just ironic shitposting and I've missed the joke?

I'm surprised at your apparent myopia. Without alluding to anything that I believe, just relating the facts...
Republicans did not lose a single US House seat. They won 16.
Republicans still have 50 US Senators, and two more are in play.
Republicans won three new governorships and did not lose any.
Republicans gained or kept state congressional seats in places they were supposed to lose.
THERE WAS NO BLUE WAVE.
Trump got the highest percentage of the non-white vote of any Republican in 60 years.
Trump got the largest number of votes of any sitting President ever.
But you believe that Joe Biden legitimately won the presidency. Come on, man...

You should watch this

Joe Perez 11-19-2020 09:34 PM

Do you believe that any of those facts are going to prevent Biden from taking the oath of office in January?

poormxdad 11-19-2020 09:37 PM

I'm hopeful.

poormxdad 11-19-2020 09:48 PM

I also don't believe Joe has two months of mental coherence left. Does your question require Sleepy Joe himself take the oath?

Bajingo 11-19-2020 10:01 PM

I've been trying to figure out if I can fill a turkey with 10 lbs of Velveeta (or some other cheese) and then deep fry it, I'm mildly worried about the cheese leaking out and becoming a cheesecano while frying. Anyone have any idea if it will work?

Trump won FL easily, when was the last time FL didn't go to the winner? Something like 60yrs. It's shady as hell.

Seriously?

Ok, so I do drink more than is probably healthy.

A lot more.

Like, I'm definitely not a viable liver-donor if I were to die tomorrow. But the rest of my organs will be well-preserved. Pickled in brine, one might say.

But two months? Dude, you lack of faith saddens me.

No.

Like, really, really no.

Just... no.

Harris Biden was trying to peddle socialism to Cuban refugees, who were literally dancing in the streets, shooting off fireworks, when Fidel Castro died. I'm not kidding, my social media was fucking exploding when that happened. I literally couldn't keep up with the the threads.

Never before in all of my own personal experience have so many people so joyously celebrated the death of a single person.

It was, seriously, a really huge deal in the Cuban-American culture. Like, for the first time in living memory, there was hope that we might get to meet our cousins on the other side of the iron curtain.

(Hasn't happened yet.)

I want to be clear that I'm not being superfluous here. This is serious shit, and Castro's death was a cause for celebration the likes of which those of us Americans of Cuban ancestry have not previously known.

So, trying to sell Socialism to Cubans in Florida... doesn't work.

I don't think it's healthy to read an election like a farmers' almanac.

I'm starting to doubt that you are, in fact, Turkish.

Beginning to think that you are a machine-shop owner in Cleveland, Ohio, USA.

You know this statement is disingenuous at best.

Do you write for CNN?

So you do know that all that info is information already in the public domain. You can go buy those exactly the same list from many private data brokers in the US. Hell if you wanted to go down to where records are held you could probably manually make the list yourself.

You also forgot as of today, Biden only won 477 counties across the US. That's 16.03%.

The only thing that pushed him over for the win were an unusually high record of votes for him, in a few select counties, in a few select swing states...

and two of those states in question have canvassers who will not certify the results in their counties...

There used to be this thing called journalism.

It was pretty cool.

As a journalist, you followed stories/lead and got to the the truth of the matter through a vigorous and exhausting effort often leading in dead-ends. You, if lucky, eventually got the satisfaction of publishing your findings, after throughout fact-checking and editing to ensure the story was as accurate as possible when writing about something, that would shock the world and change the face of history

Today, journalism doesn't exist. What does exist are "journalists" who have an agenda, care little about fact-checking and the truth, and write only with their feelings. They inject themselves into the story, make ad hominin attacks when doing real work is simply too hard, and attack the very same claims/leads they should be investigating. Because doing real work requires skill, courage, and determination, it's easier to the claim "unnamed sources" or simply call someone a "liar" without actually investigating the claims being made. They do this not because they care about truth, but because their obscenely rich boss told them to.

These people are still highly respected and considered ethical and get blow-jobs from their colleagues for taking a hard-stance against doing real work...

that's exactly what happened. some dude paid $25,000 to get the data and then was called a cybercriminal.

meanwhile, these same outlets will illegal source and publish documents and want a pat on the back for it.
