I'd like to have a serious conversation here for a moment.
I really am making a serious effort to understand what your actual viewpoint is on this issue which you raised, and I feel that this isn't the first time you've left me bewildered in this way.
First you said "5th Amendment is self-incrimination. If you're being asked questions about an issue for which you've received a pardon, you can't clam up because even if you say you broke the law, you've already received a pardon"
And, we both know that the 5th is about a lot more then self-incrimination, but I understand what you mean there.
Then you said: "In summary, a pardon does not remove one's constitutional rights, including those under the Fifth Amendment," which you attributed to "Grok."
So, would you please connect the dots for me?
As I understand it, your 5th Amendment rights are intact. However, it does not apply to the specific issue for which you are pardoned, as you could say anything about this issue and there could be no double jeopardy, incrimination, etc. Sometimes I wonder why you can't just read what I wrote and know what's in my brain...
The kid mentioned in the video above has been pardoned but not yet released. He was beat up by the guards yesterday, just for fun. AFAIK stories like this have been carried by zero MSM outlets. It's a complete news blackout.
Five J6 prisoners broke under the pressure during incarceration and unalived themselves.

The recent post I made addressing the claim of "I've heard that the size of government grew by 25% under Biden" led me down another rabbit-hole.
We all know that the US government is growing out of control, and has been for some time, hasn't it?
I downloaded a table of US Population by Year for the period of 1900 - 2025, as well as the raw data for Total US Government Employment for 1939-2025. Pasted both of those into a spreadsheet, and plotted them on a chart:
That genuinely surprised me. I assumed that the red line was going to resemble the vote totals for Biden in the 2020 election, but instead, we see that the total number of people employed by the US government has very closely tracked the total US population since WW II.
In fact, the rate of growth of US Gov't employment has actually decreased in recent years, being much closer to flat than to tracking the population growth throughout the entirety of the Biden presidency as well as the first Trump term.
Two things that aren't taken into account by those "official" figures:
First is illegal immigration (which puts a huge burden on gov't resources at all levels).
Second is how many "outside contractors" are employed to keep the numbers of gov't employees low.
I'm betting both those graphs would be more like the infamous hock stick graphs on climate scam change we all remember.
Congressman pushes amendment to allow Trump a 3rd term -- but not Obama, Clinton or Bush
Rep. Andy Ogles (R-Tenn.) proposed an amendment Thursday that would allow presidents three terms in office -- as long as they did not serve two consecutive four-year stints.
Under the Laken Riley Act, US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is required to detain illegal immigrants who are caught engaging in the crimes of "burglary, theft, larceny, or shoplifting."
22 year old nursing student Laken Riley had been out on a morning jog near the University of Georgia when she was violently assaulted and killed by illegal immigrant and Venezuelan gang member, Jose Ibarra. Ibarra had been previously arrested and released by both federal and state officials in multiple jurisdictions.
US exit from WHO could see fifth of budget disappear
Under the Biden administration the US continued to be the largest funder of the WHO and in 2023 it contributed almost one-fifth of the agency's budget.
The organisation's annual budget is $6.8bn (£5.5bn).
IMPOUNDMENT! I didn't know how this week could get any better, and then it looks like DJT has clawed back $300 BILLION from Biden's "Green New Deal". I'm guessing that's enough money that DIDN'T make it into the money supply to make a difference. It also didn't get into the enrichment cycle for Democrats....crazy.

To be fair, she wasn't fired, but no longer is the head of on office that doesn't exist... what else should her title be?
fwiw, as much as I have distain for gov't, there are tons of patriots, like me, who work in gov't and genuinely love this country, the mission, and want to see it working well/contribute on both sides of the political spectrum. There's also a boat load of low-skilled feds that fail up -- unlike the real world, the longer you work there the more you move up. Then there's purposeful ladder-climbers who don't care about anything but advancing their careers. The NRO was actually a deployment with very little cadre; it was unsustainable in my office. By the time I left, there was not one gov't lead who had an institutional knowledge of our program I remember the last chief we got, her first act on the job was making all the contractor leads move their offices in with the regular staff. It was a huge FU and moral killer. I hear she ended up leaving soon after I quit -- but her damage was already done.
