Now, a bit of fact-checking is in order.

SocialNews.xyz is owned by AGK Fire Inc, which describes itself as a "Media/News Company." However, AGK Fire appears to consist of one Indian guy who created an Android app which allows the side-loading of applications onto the Amazon Firestick. And then he also decided to create a blog, which evolved into one of those sites where the owner offers to pay "contributors" $20 a pop to create clickbait articles.

Anyway, after putting the lotion into the basket, I came across this fellow, who decided to attempt to fire earplugs as target rounds, specifically in response to Ryan J. Reilly's very public faux pas. And was successful:





And then this other fellow, who questioned whether the above video was factually correct, and repeated the experiment. Successfully:






So, in a bizzare sort of way, Ryan J. Reilly was made to be correct after the fact, by two dudes who probably didn't intend for that to happen.

 

^ Just out of curiosity, I weighed some earplugs on my little micro scale and noted that they are approximately 0.5 grams a piece.
Considering that, I am confident that I'd much rather take one of them the the head than a legitimate (and much heavier) rubber bullet**.

That being said, I guess I am most surprised by the energy being derived just from the primer in those videos.

What Scott does not realize is that, for those of us who have come to really embrace urban life, pooping in buckets in subway stations is simply part of the everyday texture of life.

Somewhere, I have a photo of a truly remarkable poo which I found standing straight up about 5" high, somewhere in SoHo. This was in the pre-smartphone era, so it's not in an easily-searchable index.
