I assume only that the RNC is full of politicians. Your assertion is incorrect.
Go back and re-read what I wrote. Trump is choosing to associate himself with the party, not the other way around.
Now, CPAC on the other hand... Talking about Trump's approval rating with CPAC is a bit like pointing out the Nickleback is hugely popular with members of the Nickleback fan club.
I mean, at their conference this year in Orlando, they had a literal* golden statue of Trump. Holding a magic wand. Un-ironically.
There is no standard of reason within a representative democracy by which that isn't a bit... odd.
* = It was fiberglass, painted to look gold.
Now, this is a statue I can get behind:
That one's at the home of a well-known and respected Chihuahua breeder who lives near Lakeland, Florida.

it's not about your health.

Dr. Michelle Fiscus, Medical Director of the Tennessee Vaccine-Preventable Diseases and Immunization Program at the Tennessee Department of Health, said she was fired in retaliation for her trying to let Tennessee teenagers choose whether they wanted to be vaccinated.
Dr. Fiscus says she is among roughly 40 percent of the directors to leave their positions since the start of the pandemic.
...
Fiscus says this all began in May, after the Pfizer vaccine was approved for 12 to 15-year-olds, and she sent a memo to vaccine providers.
Fiscus said the memo sought clarification on the legality of vaccinating minors, since according to Tennessee Supreme Court case law, minors 14 to 17 were able to receive medical care without parental consent.
Fiscus says a recipient of the memo got upset, and that later in May she was asked to appear before a committee due to concerns that her memo was "a bit of prodding or encouraging to vaccinate children without parental consent."
In a statement sent to the News4 newsroom, Dr. Fiscus criticizes state leaders, who she says put their heads in the sand and denied the existence of COVID-19.

Nothing to do with the trillions Orange Man pumped into the economy last year, does it?
Vehicle prices have nothing to do with constrained supply of new vehicles due to the chip shortages.
Oh well, I just got a raise and more stock. Let the peasants starve, right?

Something I'd never really noticed before.
The part at the end. "... against all enemies, foreign and domestic," is part of the oath sworn by the Vice President and Congresspeople, but it is NOT a part of the oath sworn by the President.
No silly theories, I just find that interesting.

Which actually makes me wonder whether one of the logical end-points of this present madness of revisisionism we find ourselves in is going to be the elimination of the constitution on the grounds that it was a product of a patriarchal group of slave-owners, and has no place in 21st century American.
https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-...prevention/But no amendment — no amendment to the Constitution is absolute. You can’t yell crowd — you can’t tell [yell]* “fire” in a crowded movie theater and call it freedom of speech. From the very beginning, you couldn’t own any weapon you wanted to own. From the very beginning that the Second Amendment existed, certain people weren’t allowed to have weapons. So the idea is just bizarre to suggest that some of the things we’re recommending are contrary to the Constitution.
Does someone wanna rewrite this dumb quote from that dumb man to make it about voting?
