Empirical evidence seems to indicate that all three of the vaccines presently used in the US are highly effective at reducing the incidence of serious illness and hospitalization from Covid.

I would posit that this is good.

 

The vast majority of us won't get a severe case. We'll be sick for a week and then fine. The Old people and that fat people obviously need it, the rest of us will be fine without it.

So:

1: Get vaccinated.
2: Catch Covid.
3: Avoid hospitalization and serious illness, due to vaccination.
4: Recover, and have a greater immunity to future infection.

The problem with the research from your country is that it hasn't yet been scrutinized by the American mainstream media, which will add equal parts panic ****, will quote competing data that was completely made up by the CDC, and may even add a quote from a movie star that said Danish food tastes funny.
