No, it's not. There are a lot of very important jobs done by government employees and a lot of very important jobs done by private sector employees. There are also a lot of shitbags employed by both the public and private sector.

One big difference--shitbags in the private sector can get fired. Of course the huge military draw-down is where we see the government rolls shrinking.

Personally, one would think the country with with the highest productivity in the world wouldn't require a government to take 25% of GDP to operate effectively. 10% perhaps?

Black wedding banned by Baptist church

I found this stunning. I mean, wut? In this day and age? I also found the following quote rather informative from the article...

The United ----- College Fund provides funding for HISTORICALLY Black colleges to provide scholarships. At these Historically Black Colleges, White students are eligible to receive full ride scholarships to encourage diversity. Guess where this funding comes from? The United ----- College Fund. White students are recipients of money put into the UNCF. Second the pastor admitted it was a racial issue. He also admitted that he himself had no problem with the ceremony being held there and wanted it to be held there, but that certain members of the congregation disagreed. So it wasn't a problem of membership.
I never knew they provided funding to all races, I always had thought it was just blacks and no one else. Huh.

Sadly, that's not far from here. "In this day and age" is a bit of a silly comment -- there are racists in all ages and all areas. My issue is with the pastor. There's no excuse for his actions.

That is obviously horribly biased and completely incorrect information because it contradicts the GOP talking points, Scrappy!

It certainly is. And further to that, I was vociferously and actively against Bush for his growth of government (even though it was in line with GDP growth) and his refusal to veto budgets that grew the deficit.

And now we find that Bush was a rank amateur regarding both.

Scrappy, you have to understand bro. Things like this article Daily Kos: Obama did not go on federal spending binge. Pace of increase now lowest it has been in decades are horribly biased and cannot possibly be true, because they contradict the GOP talking points - the facts be damned bro.

Braineak has already answered this. Twice. And in great detail. The term "tone deaf" comes to mind.

And besides, Scrappy voted for Ron Paul AND John McCain! He would NEVER troll the halls of Kos.
