I ask seriously, because we're really no longer allowed to stigmatize anything anymore.
In a world in which it is literally a criminal act (in some jurisdictions) for a parent to tell their son that he is not a girl, how can there possibly be room for intolerance towards those whose sexual preferences are different from one's own? Everything is "part of a spectrum" now, and sexual attraction towards minors is a natural fit for de-stigmatization by such means.
They won't need to be. The very concept of "mental illness" is increasingly being rejected as stigmatizing and judgmental.
Instead, we're pinkwashing mental illness by calling it Neurodiversity (not making this up.) Since "diversity" has been firmly established as being inherently good, people with psychiatric disorders no longer need to be treated or cured, they can instead be celebrated.
Heck, it's downright fashionable these days for people to stick a list of their self-diagnosed neurological disorders right up there with their pronouns and hashtags.
I mean, did you know that last week was #NeurodiversityCelebrationWeek? Neither did I until I went looking for an example of the phenomenon I described in the last sentence. This was literally one of the very first results:

One thing I've noticed is the inability of the wokies to be able to verbalize their position AGAINST pedophilia and child rape. My GF started a non-profit that targets survivors of child rape and child rape trafficking and it's downright angering the lengths that EVERY social media platform goes to suppress, sensor, and shadow ban all reports of child rape crimes or reports of protecting children from child rapists. It's dark times for sure.
San Diego's second largest illegal business is human trafficking, mainly for sex. And it's mainly young girls and boys. Disney isn't helping, but thank God that your GF is, Dave. I had a friend whose daughter was almost trafficked when she was sent to a residential rehab center. She was just hours away from falling off the grid.

Looking back at Brainey's post # 26193, I noticed something which I'd missed before.
And it's relevant here, because it concerns both the present conversation as well as Brainey's long-standing belief that all gays are also pedophiles.
Specifically, the fourth image, a post by Andy Ngô in which he outs a middle-school teacher wearing a pink bunny suit who attempted to lure minors to a hotel and came prepared with handcuffs and duct tape.
Turns out that Mr. Ngô dedicates a lot of his Twitter bandwidth to outing pedophiles. Here's another, more recent posting of his:
The thing is... Andy Ngô is gay. He's quite open about this, and even has the little rainbow flag emoji next to his name. That was what I'd missed the first time around.
So, here is a gay man whose hobby is outing child-molesters. And also Antifa members, fat-activists (or "fat-studies scholars" as some of them call themselves), the Walt Disney Company, people who are generally ********, critical race theorists, looters, and, best of all, trans-normalizers.
And... that very first part kinda doesn't fit the narrative.

Did you forget Brainey's bromance with Mylo Longgreeknameakus? He was rather gay and quite conservative and if it weren't for Brainey still posting his stuff would likely be outing Disney and the likes

So now that you've said this about Brainey, am i right in assuming that you used the word "***" in an earlier post as bait? I thought that it was out of character, but perhaps this is just another inter-kitty troll...

I know how that feels.
Partly virtue-signaling (I've been accused many times in this thread of being a liberal, and seek out opportunities to rebuke that notion), and partly just a desire to avoid sounding repetitive.
I'm highly self-conscious of how what I say and write is perceived, insofar as the style of my presentation. Always have been. And I really hate using the same adjective / pronoun over and over again in the same passage.
This can be difficult to avoid when an entire post is basically just a series of different observations about the same person or group from slightly different perspectives, so I make an effort to vary the specific language used.
As an example, I used the terms pedophile, rapist, and child-molester interchangeably. While I acknowledge that there are some valid distinctions here (not all pedophiles commit the physical act of rape, and not all molestation is of an overtly sexual nature), I felt that these semantic foibles were less important than the readability which comes from not repeating the same term ad nauseum.
I really don't care if two consenting adult men choose to engage in butt-darts. They can pickle-tickle all they want, so long as their pole-smoking happens in the privacy of their own homes / hotel rooms / RVs / workplaces after the close of business, and they abstain from trying to fudge-pack their way into legislative privilege or ramrod the educational system into glorifying their lifestyle. (Is that enough pejorative synonyms for one paragraph?)
I may make fun of them if they're of the "flamboyantly parading their homosexuality around in an overly dramatic manner" persuasion, just as I do with everyone else who deliberately makes a farcical caricature of themselves, but I'll not attempt to use religion or the courts to suppress their liberty to slide their erect and well-lubricated penises into one another's various warm, moist orifices.
These are the same people that are OK with abortions based on possible Downs Syndrome. My older son has ADHD and while it's certainly not a mental illness, it's also not a gift. My younger son also has ADHD and tests well above the 90th percentile on all the national tests, and was just accepted into the law magnet program for our local Catholic high school.
In general, most of the people screaming for tolerance are also the least tolerant people on the planet.

FWIW - I was a “behavior problem” as a kid. My folks sent me to a Catholic school starting in 4th grade. They straightened my *** right out.
Not bait / trolling at all.

Which segues nicely back to women, and how the historically downtrodden fairer sex seems to be getting downtrodden again for taking a passive stance on pronouns, as well as whether those pronouns allow the user to join the ladies bowling league.
So the cis crowd picks on her "pronoun pin", and the trans crowd goes and beats her at the local swim meet. Get a backbone sister.

Now, this was not the primary reason why he / him did not get the job, but man, it was a hell of a red flag.
My assumption is that tech companies probably now deal with this wort of thing on a daily basis, and it's probably become common enough that it's no longer considered problematic.

when have I said all gays are pedos? I mean they are almost all liberals, which means they are then, yes of course, a pedo. But I dont even recall ever saying all gays are pedos -- just daddy issues.

Milo and really just Bill O’Reilly ( Schapiro even later ) were probably the only two conservatives on the planet at the time concerned and actively warning about losing the social politics agenda (see: gamergate [2014 Milo] or Culture Warrior [2006 Bill]) .
He wrote and exposed the agenda and the libs immediately labeled him an alt-right **** and had a vendetta against him ever since.
Now we got this **** and myriad conservatives that support Biden's new Transgender Day of Visibility:

Touché. I'll give you an equally obtuse and brilliant answer to your obtuse and brilliant clarifying question: Yes and No
Yes there is a position when it comes to restricting others.
No there is no position when pressed to specifically be one thing or another.

My older sister was a special-ed teacher for well over 20 years, almost entirely in “Intermediate(10-12 years old) Emotionally Disturbed.” Her take was that about 50% of her kids would have been considered “gifted” if they had a regular-class teacher who was any good. A lot of them showed up taking Ritalin, because they were hyper behavior problems, when in reality they were way above average IQ’s and just bored to death. It was a challenge for sub-mediocre teachers to keep them engaged, so they labeled the kids as ED or ADHD and got them out of their classrooms.
Oh, and the ******* Covid and Ukraine War and Will Smith propaganda is absolutely entertaining the overlords by accomplishing their goals of oppression and slave control. Keep swallowing you intelligent bastards.

Well then, I hold your sister in much higher regard than the other 98% of teachers out there. The education system of today's youth ain't what us Gen-exers grew up with. I remember being in school and my teachers were always ready to debate with me and others. We weren't going to accept what they said at face value. But today? The teacher assigns a paper about how "gays are brilliant leaders, but only if a black person hasn't been so oppressed by whites and isn't available to accept their trophy?" and our kids are straight up afraid to do actual creative writing or give their opinions. They need to write the paper in a way that shows Big Brother they agree with the propaganda.

To a hiring manager at such a firm, would the presence of pronouns at the top of a resume be considered a positive attribute, a warning sign, or merely have no impact whatsoever?
Would the absence of pronouns on a resume be noticed? What effect would that have?
