Apparently, Maduro called out Trump recently. The reward for information leading to his capture was doubled to $50 million dollars so Maduro defiantly taunted Trump personally saying, "Come get me! I'll be waiting here in Miraflores (at the presidential palace)! Don't take too long, coward!" Here's the video of the speech and the White House response:
Two things seem important to bear in mind right now.
For the Libs - where was your outrage when Biden (or whoever was calling the shots at the time) ordered the arrest of Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernández at his home in Tegucigalpa in Feb 2022?
For the MAGA folk - if today's action was really about the flow of narcotics into the US, where was your outrage when President Trump issued a pardon to former President Hernández last month, given that Hernández had facilitated the export of hundreds of tons of cocaine into the US?
I don't think either is good. Stay in our lane. Sovereign countries are sovereign.
The US forcibly overthrew the president of Guatemala for United Fruit Co. (Chiquita bananas).
"In, 1954, the United States orchestrated a coup in Guatemala that overthrew the democratically elected President Jacobo Árbenz, a pivotal event driven by corporate interests.
The coup was authorized by Democrat President Dwight D. Eisenhower and carried out by the CIA, which provided military training, logistical support, and aerial bombardment to rebel forces.
The operation was justified by U.S. officials, including Secretary of State John Foster Dulles and CIA Director Allen Dulles, who were both closely tied to the United Fruit Company (UFCO), with Dulles serving as a board member and the law firm Sullivan and Cromwell representing the company.
UFCO, owned 42% of the country's land and monopolized railroads, telegraph, and telephone systems and had long exerted significant political influence in the region."
The US invaded Venezuela and captured Maduro and his wife.
I am not a fan of invading other countries and capturing their leadership for "national security reasons".
Why can't China do the same in Taiwan, then? It's certainly in their national security interests.
And here's another example of a brutal dictator being removed and leaving a power vacuum. I hope it will not give further rise to local warlord power struggles.
It's a lot more than Maduro. You obviously saw that the Chinese were there. You may have also seen that the Russians signed a treaty with Maduro last month promising to protect them. Venezuela's got the most oil and the most gold of any country on earth, and they were well on their way to becoming puppets for the Chinese and Russians, which is NOT good for us.
To quote him, "Venezuela is a proxy for China, Iran, and Russia used to terrorize the U.S. with fentanyl, mass illegal immigration, gangs, and cartels.
Millions of Americans have died. Maduro's arrest shuts it all down."
Uh... no. Venezuela is not the source of our fentanyl supply or even traffic. We have a few Venezuelans here illegally but not nearly the number from Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala, etc. And saying millions of Americans have died because of Maduro is so absent from reality, it's laughable.

^ This.
Look at any list of the top 10 countries involved in the production and smuggling of fentanyl to the US, and Venezuela never shows up. The big players are Mexico, China, India, Canada and Vietnam, with other countries acting as transit hubs for legal precursor chemical shipment where diversion or theft is thought to occur.
There are only two reasons why we invaded and annexed Venezuela.
One, as Six pointed out, is that Maduro called Trump a chicken. And Trump deals with that about as well as Marty McFly.
The other is oil.
Venezuela has the largest proven oil reserve of any country in the world. At 303 billion barrels, that's more the Saudi Arabia, more than Iran, more than Canada, hell, it's more than Iraq and Kuwait combined.
During the 2024 campaign cycle, Trump and Trump-aligned Republicans received somewhere between $75 - 100 billion in direct contributions from the oil & gas industry, plus another ~ $350 million in indirect spending (independent pro-Republican advertising, funding of PACs, etc).
Venezuela is the return on their investment.
All of this has happened before, and all of it will happen again.
We are getting some good memes out of it, though.

Reason: Added "Chill beats to regime-change to" video, and Rogue One meme, which I made.

I have no doubt that the VAST majority of fentanyl and precursors are going through Mexico, and as Trump has said, Sheinbaum is not in control of Mexico--the cartels are. However, Venezuela is key because of its oil and gold, which is the obvious tie-in with Russia and China.
Venezuela is key because it influences its neighbors in a bad way.
Venezuela is key because Cuba gets 40% of its oil from Venezuela.
Venezuela is key because it emptied out its prisons and insane asylums and sent them to the U.S., and sent Tren de Aragua to distribute their drugs.
Venezuela is key because it was actually sending drugs to the USA, including fentanyl. No reason to let them go just because they're not #1 on the list.
Venezuela is key because of the Dominion and Smartmatic voter fraud, which has affected the USA as well as places like Brazil. That's over.
Will we see follow-through from the GOP on this? Their track record frankly SUCKS. Will Maduro get justice? Well if he doesn't in the Southern District of New York, where his judge is a 92 year old Clinton appointee, he can always be sent back to Venezuela (once it's settled down) and face ALLL the murder charges.
Whether he goes there before or after serving time in the U.S. will likely be determined whether he sings like a canary or not.
All this **** may end up pointing in a different direction that what everyone expects.
The real problem with Republicans is that so many of them are secretly Leftists. But out-of-the-closet Leftists just plain suck...hard. ****'s not getting done in Congress because such a large contingent of the "Republicans" are actually just Leftists who cosplay as Republicans.

You still think there's a difference, don't you?
Anyway, since Venezuela is the distraction du-jour, isn't it interesting how Christians / Catholics make up > 90% of the population of both Mexico and Venezuela, and yet both are now under the rule of a Jew?
Mexico after like, what, like a dozen assassination?
And now Venezuela after a US-led midnight coup.
"Follow the money" used to be a common chant in this room. Seems like "follow the Zionism" is more like it right now.
Retired US General Jack Keane, speaking to 'Fox News Live' yesterday, accidentally let it slip before catching himself and switching back to the officially-sanctioned narrative.
José Francisco Fuentes in 2009, Rodolfo Torre Cantú and Gregorio Barradas Miravete in 2010, José Eduviges Nava Altamirano in 2011, Jaime Serrano Cedillo in 2012, Aristóteles Sandoval in 2020, Ricardo Taja Ramírez in 2023... a lot of pieces had to be moved around the board to line up Claudia Sheinbaum for election in 2024.

It's official. You've "out-conspiracy theoried" me. Nice touch blaming it all on the Jewish cabal.
I'm wondering if the Cuban American on the chat will approve of Trump crippling Cuba's oil supply, making them ripe for free and fair elections in the near future...
...or is the worry that Bebe Netanyahu will be taking over the island? Will heads explode if Bebe ends up helping the Persians in Iran overthrow the Mullahs?

Sorry Joe, but Maria is a Roman Catholic. She just happens to be a strong supporter of Israel.
Also, the leader of Venezuela now is named Delcy Rodriguez - decidedly not a Jew. Although, Trump thinks we can work with her, so that does raise Zionist concerns.
Should stop paying attention to Nick Fuentes and co. And maybe spend less time in MSM Stockholm.

Oh, man. It's taken me over a year of admittedly on-and-off effort, but I finally found your breaking point.
I want you to know that, as insane as all of that sounded to you, sometimes the stuff you are writing sounds like that to me.
I don't mean that as an insult, I am hoping that you can look at things with a new sense of perspective. As part of this, I've spent a lot of time over the past few days delving deep into hardcore anti-Semitic forums, and the stuff to be found in there, no matter how wild, the folks who are posting it genuinely believe every bit of it to be not merely true, but intuitively obvious, in much the same way that each one of us believes the same about the things we write here.
It's important to step back and at least attempt to objectively read what we write, every single day.
Apologies to everyone else.
Back to my regularly-scheduled criticism of the ongoing deceit and hypocrisy from every single Republican in congress except for Rand Paul and Thomas Massie.
