Does anyone believe that the revision of the USDA food pyramid is going to change the way people eat?
Yes, there is the public schools angle. But remember that this is the environment in which a slice a pizza counts as a full serving of vegetables so long as it has 2 tablespoons of sauce on it.
Thomas Massie is a performative git. Epstein was a distraction, but for him and many others they're off to the next shiny object. The whataboutism is strong with the Epstein crowd.
Yesterday, Corrine Perkins made this very insightful observation on X.com:
Unsurprisingly, this took place in Minneapolis. Videos are available which show the entire sequence of events, in which this woman has basically been stalking ICE agents, maneuvering through their ranks and then parking her car sideways in the middle of the street to impede them from performing their duties.
That detail is obviously missing from the leftist narrative, but that doesn't really matter for our purposes here today.
(Incidentally, how did we get to this point? Where young liberal women feel both a sense of duty to risk their safety and freedom for the benefit of a group who disrespect them at best and want them dead at worst, coupled with a delusional sense of entitlement which assures them that they are immune from the law, the consequences of their actions, and the fundamental norms of a civil society? What went wrong?)
Anyway, what does matter is that The Interwebz have *really* been delivering, dishing out one savage take after another in a community art project which has come to be known as "Her First Encounter with Accountability."
Some of my favorites:
(Record scratch, freeze frame, "Baba O'Riley" by The Who begins playing)
EDIT:
One more. A different emotionally disturbed young leftist woman this time, but the exact same performance:
If my internet sleuthing is correct, this one has three prior arrests for domestic battery plus one for theft. A real winner.
I just don't get it. It's like they are completely decoupled not just from the fundamental concept of cause-and-effect, but actually from reality itself.
I cannot comprehend this.

Someone else must(or should) have posted this quote from 1984 already, but it still fits -
'It was always the women, and above all the young ones, who were the most bigoted adherents of the Party, the swallowers of slogans, the amateur spies and the nosers-out of unorthodoxy'
