Over the past few years, dozens of rural counties in eastern and central Oregon have passed local ballot measures supporting the idea of leaving Oregon and joining Idaho as part of what's known as the Greater Idaho movement.

For a county to actually leave Oregon and become part of Idaho, at minimum both state legislatures (Oregon's and Idaho's) and the U.S. Congress would have to approve the change under the U.S. Constitution (Article IV, Section 3). That level of approval has not happened.

Immigration to the US once ran a "cream filter." it was hard to come here and harder still to make it. there was little to no safety net, discrimination, and hard times. but many came and thrived and assimilated and become americans in every meaningful sense. this was the melting pot, the immigration that worked. it may not have always been nice, but the fact that it was hard was the selector that made it work.

but then some bright light said "hey, these folks are grand, we should make it easier to come and help them once they get here!"

and that broke the selector. and problems started. the melting pot will not melt, the newcomers will not assimilate and often could not if they tried.

add in the really bad choice of "you can get free housing and welfare and healthcare that's worth multiples of the income where you live" and the flood really starts.

the gimmiegrants come en masse.

and the unsuspecting locals of the west are still thinking "we're an immigrant nation!" and "these folks have generally been swell!" and as such make the category error that "these new immigrants will be much like the ones we had before." but they aren't. they neither share western values not do they wish to learn them. they think the west is stupid and have come to grab free stuff.

to the unpopular globalist seeking to retain power, this is a feature, not a bug.

group D will be dependents. they will never move out of council houses, never go off welfare, never stop using SNAP, or state paid health systems. the globalists think this will make them a docile and easily controlled voting block.

but it doesn't.

they still hate the values of the place they live, so once they get dispositive voting power, they start to dominate politics and the would be sorcerer's apprentices who thought they were the lords become the subjugated vassals of the tribes they imported to serve them.

and then the immigration REALLY goes bad as tribal cultures who have always believed that the purpose of government is to determine which tribe can, with impunity and without repercussion, plunder and rob and rape the other tribes.

this is a civilizational sucking chest wound inflicted by category error empathy and fanned into full conflagration by unpopular politicians who will cling to any piece of floating flotsam to avoid drowning.

then they come for speech because you cannot be allowed to stop this and the groups who now lead them by the nose never believed in free speech to begin with. they beleived in power. and now they will wield it.

implementing de-migration is not as difficult as it sounds. mostly, you just need to shut off the benefits and fraud bandwagons and lots of folks will go home. make it easy. "the only benefit you are eligible for is a plane ticket to where you came from."

if you believe that western culture has value worth preserving, then we must protect our values. reversing what just happened is difficult, but not impossible and it only gets harder the longer it goes on.

Bros. Check out this local story:

https://www.ffxnow.com/2026/01/20/er...metro-station/

Errant bus driver takes passengers for unwanted ride to Vienna Metro station

A routine bus trip from New York City to D.C. took a harrowing turn for passengers last night (Monday) when the driver reportedly decided to ditch their intended destination for a journey into the unknown.

As documented in a viral thread on the nascent social media platform Bluesky by user Musicology Duck, a driver on a BestBus route from Penn Station to Union Station and Dupont Circle allegedly sped down a highway and refused to go to Union Station despite pleas from both riders and the bus company’s staff, dropping everyone off at the Vienna Metro station only after the police were called.

...

Shortly before 10 p.m., the driver pulled off the highway and let everyone deboard at the Vienna Metro station, though videos shared by Musicology Duck showed him flipping off passengers as they were collecting their luggage.

“I’m the captain of this ship,” the driver said in one video while closing the luggage compartment.

After everyone was off the bus, the driver drove off, and passengers were ultimately taken to Union Station by a different bus sent by BestBus.

The Fairfax County Police Department confirmed its officers responded to the 9500 block of Virginia Center Blvd at 10:02 p.m. yesterday after receiving “a report of a bus driver acting erratically.”

“Upon arrival, the complainant advised that police assistance was no longer needed and that the bus had left the area,” a police department spokesperson told FFXnow.

Logic: laws are all constitutional, because shitty horrible laws were constitutional before they were later found unconstitutional.
This lady will pretzel logic ANYTHING in order to justify her world view, including saying she doesn't know what a woman is.

Until then, Julian Assange confirms that the DNC hides money in Canada because what they're doing is so illegal. Yes, there's a UNIPARTY but the liberals still hold the record for being the absolute shittiest of people. See Justice Brown for reasons why they justify TREASON among other things to reach their "goals."

We're being fucked six ways from Sunday just so Democrats can overwhelm the system through the census, or collapsing the system which leads to "HELP ME, GOVERNMENT!" and creating voters who rely on government subsidies. Or simply stealing our money through NGO's who then cycle it back to the DNC.

We actually don't have a deficit; we have a "Fraudicit."

There are lots of reasons for the disproportionate increase, but like anything that attracts government money they seem to be mostly about employing administrative workers who would struggle in the business world. The kids who bought into the “degree to succeed” bit are being used.

Why most things cost more...

This is not copypasta, I wrote it.

Everything that gets built, public, private, or commercial, requires machinery to put the pipe in the ground and to do the earth work. Machines are required to scoop the sand and gravel to mix to make the concrete and make the asphalt, to lay the asphalt, and to compact it. Machines are required to unload the trucks, raise the buildings, etc. In the 1990s, there were no emissions requirements for diesel construction machinery. Then in the 2000s, the EPA began to ramp up emissions controls of particulate matter and oxides of nitrogen in steps they called tiers. I just compiled a chart for these cumulative costs on every 200 hp diesel construction machine.

These are the cost to buy the machines new, but do not reflect the expensive ongoing costs of operation that have also been added. Diesel particulate filters must be replaced at a cost of $5,000 to $15,000 every 3 to 8,000 hours of operation. Diesel exhaust fluid must be refilled every time the machine is refueled. The diesel exhaust fluid sensors are finicky and often need to be replaced. The injectors fail because of the caustic nature of the fluid and the fact that it crystallizes in the lines. The diesel particulate filters are measured for back pressure and the machines go into a regeneration mode in which they burn off the particulate soot with excess fuel dumped directly into the exhaust. The machines generally cannot be operated during this self-cleaning event. This process often renders the machine inoperable for a period of time (20-60 minutes) every couple of working days. When the computer demands this operation is unpredictable and federally required not to be bypassed. If the machine is turned off or the process is interrupted in some way, it will go into a limp mode, requiring a dealer service technician physically coming to the site and performing a "forced regeneration" with cable connection to a laptop computer and proprietary software. This generally costs upwards of $2,000 and can also only be performed a few times before the particulate filter must be replaced in its entirety.

Actual machine price attributable specifically to emissions systems by Tier 4 Final:
~$35,000 to $65,000 added per new 200 hp machine
relative to early Tier equipment.
That aligns with observed contractor premiums of:
10-20% of purchase price
and OEM statements up to ~12%+.
(Equipment World / Caterpillar estimate)

On a personal note, one of my good customers had an 80,000 lb excavator digging a trench overnight across a major highway that was only allowed to be closed between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.

In the middle of this operation, the brand new machine decided it was time to demand a regeneration event. The machine was unable to complete the task or to be moved out of the way so that another machine could complete the task for some time, causing much excitement and tens of thousands of dollars in fines for delayed reopening of the roadway. My customer equated it to being broken down on the railroad tracks with a train coming.
