If by predictable value, you mean constantly losing value, then yes.

I wonder what the effect of that inflation was on the database systems, data-entry forms, price scanners, etc., used by Zimbabwean business and the banking industry.

Given the relative value they represent, I guess they could always just drop the lesser 6 digits, as they would definitely NOT be considered sig figs.

And suddenly, you create an incompatibility between the represented valuation of accounts entered prior to the transision vs. those after. Eg: if you made the switch on Jan 1 2000, then all accounts entered prior to that would suddenly be considered to be worth 1,000,000x their actual value when interpreted under the new system.

That's either a lot of real-time adjustment, or a massive database migration which would require a full shutdown of all accounting and finance processing to perform.

The key point, however, is that Bitcoin is being treated as a commodity, rather than a currency. There's a reason that we don't pay for groceries, rent, utilities, kitty litter, etc., with gold (or wheat futures, or other such speculative commodities,) and that's because their value is unstable and largely unpredictable.

With centrally-regulated currency, we can easily predict what the value of that currency will be in the future, as it is actively controlled.

Michael Flynn Will Reportedly Testify Trump Told Him To Reach Out To Russians

Michael Flynn pleads guilty to lying to the FBI

Prosecutor Brandon L. Van Grack said in court that “a very senior member of the transition team directed” Flynn to contact the Russian ambassador at one point. At another, Flynn “called a senior official of the Trump team at Mar-a-Lago” to discuss a United Nations resolution that Flynn talked about with Kislyak.

Flynn was fired for telling the same lie to the Trump administration that he is now indicted for telling to the FBI. There's not any surprises here.

He was an Obama era hire who was fired after working for Trump 25 days.

He was the head of the Defense Intelligence Agency personally appointed by Obama in 2012. How is that stretching?

He was the head of the Defense Intelligence Agency personally appointed by Obama in 2012 and fired by Obama on August 7, 2014 after speaking against the rise of ISIS under the King Obama. How is that stretching?

Flynn was fired from the Obama administration in 2014. He joined the Trump campaign in 2016 and became a key figure there. Post-election, the Obama administration warned Trump's transition team not to employ him in their administration and that he was potentially blackmailable/compromised. Presenting him as a carryover from the Obama adminstration or a low-key figure is either an ill-informed opinion or an outright attempt to misinform.

You should care about this investigation because it is quite clear that a foreign government attempted, and debatably succeeded in, influencing an American election. They ran political ads, ran online troll farms seeking to stoke divisive rhetoric on both sides, hacked political party servers, and even were able to hack into voter registration rolls. But conservatives by and large do not care because in this case it happened to fall in line with their political goals, so **** it, MAGA.

when haven't they? And this investigation has been going on for some time now and the only that's come of it is the FBI is bitter that a few people lied to them -- oh yeah, and some **** Hillary did.

They ran political ads, ran online troll farms seeking to stoke divisive rhetoric on both sides, hacked political party servers, and even were able to hack into voter registration rolls.
well then, let's get the U.N. on this right away! Maybe we can send Russia some frowny face emoticons and they'll stop. Or we can charge people on unrelated things and pretend it'll solve the problem and/or trick useful idiots into thinking the arrest was somehow connected.

But, what does this have to do with Flynn lying to the FBI about legal activities, in which he was fired for after telling the same lie to his own bosses? And again, why does it matter?

But conservatives by and large do not care because in this case it happened to fall in line with their political goals, so **** it, MAGA.
GREAT point. Bravo. I was trying to figure out why I didn't care, thanks for clearing it up for me.

don't you hate when you place your order, but get a nothing burger when the waitress comes?
