An 11-year-old girl in Ohio was allegedly raped by a 26-year-old multiple times, leaving her pregnant, according to police reports. A state law passed in April, but not yet in effect, says that victims like her won't have a choice to have an abortion — they would have to carry and deliver their rapist's child.

The law prohibits women from obtaining an abortion after a fetal heartbeat is detected, about five or six weeks into a pregnancy, before most women even know that they're pregnant.

The law provides no exceptions for rape or incest.

Then the court will order the father to pay child support

Assuming it is used correctly, and does not fail, then no child support payments, because no pregnancy.

And then theres this..

https://www.businessinsider.com/wome...NAztZWLN05N2Nk

While many states have recently passed six- or 15-week abortion bans in an effort to bring a case to the Supreme Court for the purposes of overturning Roe v. Wade, the legal reporter Mark Joseph Stern pointed out in a recent Slate article that Georgia's law went further than others in the criminal penalties women would face.

In addition to banning abortion after a heartbeat can be detected, the law's personhood provisions:
  • Allow fetuses to be claimed as dependents for tax purposes.
  • Count fetuses as people in official population surveys, which would have implications for political representation.
  • Allow for women who perform their own abortions outside a formal medical setting to be charged with first-degree murder, which could carry a sentence of up to life in prison or the death penalty.
By defining fetuses as people, the law would appear to have implications far beyond those directly addressed in its text. State prosecutors, for example, might be able to charge women whose pregnancies end in miscarriage with second-degree murder, which carries a sentence of 10 to 30 years, if they can prove the miscarriage was a result of the woman's own conduct, like drug or alcohol use, as Slate argued.

Candace Owens suspended from Facebook after she writes, 'Black America must wake up to the great liberal hoax'

...

Candace Owens, communications director at Turning Point USA, tweeted Friday morning that Facebook suspended her personal account over a post that the social media company said violated its "Community Standards."

...
TIL: it's against the community standards of FB to remind people about the horrors of liberalism.

I was 17 when I was raped by a classmate. He was someone I knew, someone I trusted, but in the end, none of that mattered. I would not find out until eight months later that I was pregnant as a result of the assault.

It become very popular to frame laws restricting abortion as a product of the patriarchy trying to oppress / control women.

Funny how many women seem to joining in on the oppression.

It's funny how well-off / economically comfortable those women appear to be. It doesn't look like a single one has ever put in a hard day's work or had to face the choice of eating dinner vs. paying rent.

I'm pro-life, and I support anyone's else's choice to be pro-life, so long as they don't try to take away that choice from anyone else. Pro-life and pro-choice are not mutually exclusive; it's acceptable to be both.

That was Margaret Sanger's point; why have all these poor black kids running around....they'll just end up on welfare anyway. Let's kill them before they have a chance to reproduce. Eugenics, it's Adolph's term for Pro-Choice before Pro-Choice was cool.

Just because Planned Parenthood was founded by a Progressive white supremacist to stop black people from having children doesn't mean it's all bad. As long as you are a progressive liberal elite you can get away with pretty much anything.
