You're kidding, right? Trump is the first one in eight years that wasn't actively working the system for cashflow. Part of his dynamic was that he didn't chase other people's money to get elected like the other political types. How much greater was Obama's net worth after his presidency?
His salary was only about 200k, iirc.
And the Clintons made 200k per year but went from 16MM in debt leaving the white house to 280MM net worth in 2018 according to Forbes. A small part of that was a book deal but the rest was pay to play from the secretary of state and cadre.

This also didn't stop Democrats from pouncing on this story. Senator Jeff Merkley posted the tweet below of an image of a Japanese internment camp. Here, he's trying to equate that image with the way illegal aliens are being treated at the moment. Here are the facts (from Ryan Saavedra):
1. The facility Trump is sending illegal aliens to is Fort Sill Army Base

But guys, I've been reliably told that the mainstream media are the truth tellers, the ones fighting for us, the ones keeping Trump in check with facts... What a load of bull.

The book deals helped, but I suspect an even bigger part is the $500k speaking fee.
EDIT: Just found this, "Bill, Hillary and Chelsea all make well into six figures to speak in front of large crowds. Bill and Hillary alone have reportedly made over $150 million in speaking fees between 2001 and 2015."

For one, this is (allegedly) a government-issued sign.
For two, as someone who has personally committed innumerable counts of forgery of electronic documents, and has actually attended an NSA seminar* on the subject, I'm just not seeing any of the tell-tale signs here. There are no macroblock discrepancies, no diffs in the expected compression artifacts, etc. I am 99% certain that photo is authentic.
* = Yes, believe it or not, the NSA has actually given many seminars to the broadcast industry on how to spot literal fake news, at a technical level. They seem to give a **** about whether what we report is true or not, which makes sense, given that they use us as a major source of intelligence. I've been to two of them. Surprisingly fascinating, really. I learned a heck of a lot about the MPEG and JPEG family of Codecs, as well as a few tips about Photoshop / Aftereffects / FinalCut which I may or may not have exploited for financial gain. All of this information is unclassified, so @Braineack, you're safe.
