What is the appropriate length of time to wait before publicly saying things like "If only Canada had strong gun-control laws, including mandatory registration of all firearms, licensing required for handgun ownership, meticulous background checks, etc"?

fooger - great summary.

Also, I do wonder what would happen if it was proposed "remove all abortion control, and we'll remove all gun control." I wonder if that would pan out or go anywhere. On that note, I did enjoy hearing Chapelle's take on abortion. Women should have the right to do what they want with their bodies, and men should have a right to do what they want with their money. "My body my choice, my money my choice." Continuing "if you can choose whether or not, without my consent, to kill your baby, then I should also be able to choose whether or not to support said baby." I wonder if the amount of recreational sex with non-marital material partners would drop down - or just if anything would change at all? I don't like either path, but it would be interesting to see the dialogue that would materialize from it.

Ignore the propaganda but listen to the speech. Starts at 0:22. both of them seem pretty bad.

Coronavirus-spreader Chris Cuomo got a lecture for breaking quarantine, and he's upset about it

CNN’s Chris Cuomo, who announced on March 31 that he has the coronavirus, broke quarantine on Easter Sunday to take his wife and children to look at an undeveloped property in East Hampton, New York, a full 30-minute drive from their home in Southampton, New York.

While I'm certainly no fan of the President, he is by far not the only or most important issue at stake in the next election.

There's a special kind of determined, willful ignorance required to say "My feelings are literally the only thing that matters."

If anyone wants a laugh, start reading the washington post articles about how Fairfax Country Public Schools is current botching the **** out of distance learning. We are one of the richest counties in the US and it really shows...

Technology specialists also raised concerns that Fairfax students would take advantage of a feature allowing them to enter any username when they joined online classrooms. That anxiety proved well founded, as students last week picked names including the n-word. Some who joined a German class chose the names “I LOVE ADOLF HITLER” and “OVEN SURVIVOR #2,” according to images obtained by The Post.
