He would do well to talk less.
As an engineer, I have the personality that I don't like to speak until I have things sorted out. My son however, thinks by talking. So, I have to ignore 95% of what he says, because it is not his conclusions, only his starting points; even though he speaks the words that it is his final word on any given subject.
I've said this before, the only thing that would make me lose support for the President is finding out he had sex with Hillary Clinton during the 2016 campaign. That's it.
He's a big thinker. If someone had an idea that he thought might work, I'm sure he would get it funding. How hard would it be to test UV radiation on virus patients instead of just saying it won't work?
That's what really worries me about my sister. If she gets this, she's a goner.
She was on a ventilator for about a week after the lung transplant, which is normal, and recovered just fine. It's been ten years since then, and she's been slowly declining in recent years. Chronic, low-grade rejection, and of course the meds for that mean her kidneys are now failing.
She's making final preparations. We recently purchased a grave site. (I was amazed at how inexpensive grave sites are, and also, I'm now an official property-owner. Not sure how that affects my tax situation...) And she's tagged me as the one responsible for end-of-life decisions, because she thinks I'll be less emotional and more clear-headed than her husband or mom.

Sorry to hear that. I had to have a "come to Jesus" meeting with my dad last month. Chronic cigarette and weed smoker, hard drinker, multiple hospitalizations over the last decade for various different things.
