I can see that.

Based on personal experience (as a first generation American), I think I might limit the observation to immigrants, or the first and second generation offspring of immigrants.

I was going to then write "And, really, this extends to all immigrants, not just Hispanics."

But then I realized a problem in my thinking. To wit: this is not a universal truth.

Growing up, several of the neighbors kids were also the first-generation children of immigrant families. Mostly Indian, but also one family from what used to be known as Yugoslavia. All are now successful and upstanding members of society.

Then I remember the one major outlier.

If you asked me to name the one person I know personally, who has the most hysterically warped perception of reality as it applies to politics, racism, and so on, I'd immediately name a woman I have worked with in the past, who is also a first-generation American of Indian and African descent. This is a person who is convinced that the world is going to end every time a non-democrat is elected, who is pretty sure that the end result of the Amy Barrett nomination is going to be concentration camps, and so on.

So, now I just don't know...

I'd agree that most immigrants aren't leftist tards in general, worse the country more likely they are to dislike the leftists. At least that's my personal experience.

The election ballots here are in English, Spanish, Vietnamese and Korean. I'm a little surprised there's no Indian language.

They all vote left.

It would be less of a **** hole if they stopped building condo/townhome communities in every square inch they can find land.

Simply too many people in the area, and many of the imports have no pride in their neighborhood

I have a Filipino friend who goes absolutely bat **** if she has to press one for English on phone calls. According to her "**** them, I had to prove I spoke English just to get here." only in a cute accent I can't reproduce.

As a first-generation American, of Spanish ancestry, I cannot even begin to tell you how wrong the assertion is that all Spanish-speakers vote left.

My family make you look downright liberal by comparison.

A lot of people assume I am a liberal because I'm Indian. A lot of liberals tell me that I've been brain washed by Fox news (I don't watch Fox news). One ivory tower liberal actually asked my sister what was wrong with me.

I hate it that a lot of immigrants come here and want the same policies that made their country shitty implemented here.

I'm not convinced they have no pride, but this started years ago. I grew up about four miles north of the DC border in MD, in a white, Jewish and Catholic neighborhood. I'd say evenly divided between the two religions. Two parents and two or three children in just about every home. Mostly two bedroom, one full bathroom, a small den (which was my bedroom), and an unfinished basement. My parents had the basement done up and I moved downstairs when I got into high school. The neighborhood stayed mostly that way until the children grew up, moved out, and the parents decided to downsize, or God downsized them without their consent.

Thirty five years or so ago, the folks next door to my parents sold their home, and a family from Ecuador moved in. They were basically the first "non-traditional" family to move in. Some of the nicest people ever. My dad was getting old, and the boys would shovel the snow before dad even woke up. Sometimes they'd mow the lawn when my parents weren't home because my dad would insist on them taking money if he saw them doing it. The mom would often bring over a plate of something delicious for no reason other than being a good neighbor.

However, the family consisted of the father, mother, three adult sons, a 17-year-old daughter with a baby--no husband--the father's brother and his son. Eight-and-a-half people living in a house built for four or five. Everyone but the baby had a car. They had a one car driveway and no garage. The boys would park their riceburners in the front yard. The cars were well cared for and nicely done, as far as I remember, but parking them in the yard was a foul. The father and his brother had a small HVAC business, so there were also two white, rusty, shitbox vans covered with ladders and PVC pipes. Ten total vehicles, some of which were parked in front of someone else's house. That was a serious offense against the American family system back then. I swear they had a working refrigerator outside the back porch in the yard covered with a tarp. They would not mow the back yard until they were having some kind of family gathering, and then the boys would be out there with scythes cutting down four foot tall grass. That was just the way they lived. Property values quickly went to ****, and the remnants of the other families started moving out, to be replaced mostly by equally large families who weren't born here. That neighborhood now is not a place I would drive into, even in the daytime.

Do they?

I ask honestly. My own personal experience here comes mainly from families which immigrated from Cuba to the US during the 1960s - 80s. They, and their children, and their grandchildren, are some of the most fiercely anti-socialist folks you could meet.

We have had nothing but issues with EVERY owner. The first owners were just drafted into the nfl. Luckily they weren't there at least half the year. Parties every weekend that almost always ended in some kind of drama. Finally, momma moved in and the riff raff stopped.

The players eventually moved to their team's state and momma stayed. Nice and quiet for a few years. She moved to Texas and rented the house for a while and that created more drama. She eventually sold to the current owners and I cant even tell you how many live there. Their garage is filled bottom to top with ****, and only two cars fit on the driveway. They have to dig a tunnel thru the **** to get to the mower. Of course they let the grass grow to 10" or so before cutting.

I think there were at least 7-8 vehicles attached to that house, not including girlfriends and bros. 2 on the driveway and they took the rest of the available street parking for the surrounding houses. Thanks, fks. I bought a corner house for a reason. Not so that you can take all my parking. Had to get the home owners assoc involved and they called the police. Police called the county and they placed a no parking sign for 3/4 of my side parking. Neighbors complained of their commercial Van's being parked there and couldn't see around them at the intersection.

So now the congestion has been removed on the side of my house. Neighbors that live deep in the hood are back to doing 40-45 (25 speed limit) by my house. The neighbors that complained they couldn't see at the stop sign, now roll thru it, cause they can see now and dont need to stop. Fk me

The dirt ***** have one vehicle, disabled on a side street to an adjacent neighborhood. Hasnt been touched in a year? A friend of one of their kids, lives there also. Has an older bmw broke down in front of our next door neighbor's house. He has been lazily working on it for 6 months. Sometimes on a jack, sometimes on jack stands. Sometimes with parts scattered around it. A nice 4 ft in diameter fluid leak, now stains the pavement where it sits.
