The results aren't certified. It was premature and dangerous to call the election at the current moment when a few states are going to recount.
We need to make sure there wasn't Russian interference in places where 21k dead people voted. Or Mail in ballots return were greater than mailed out. Or software glitches caused incorrect counts. Or date stamps were changed. Or turn out records were not only broken but astronomical....

Let it all out. We'll give you plenty of time. I know this is hard, and will take some getting used to. It's perfectly normal to expect that fraud occurred when things don't go our way.

Lock the thread and declare yourself the winner, IMO.

I forgot: voter fraud/manipulation/interference only happens when a Republican wins.
I think it's fair to objectively say there is some sketchy stories/statistics out there. They might be legitimate, they might not. That's just from reading the news; not from some wild made-up storied pushed for 4 years to try to baselessly delegitimize/slow/demonize an entire term.
But I guess it's good Biden won, none of the liberal cities that voted for him got burned down in rage.
You can get as passive aggressive as you like about it, but the fact is i didn't say any such thing. There was definitely (and still is) interference in both elections. I 100% agree with you.
I merely drew the parallel between you and this. Which is an interesting juxtaposition in the face of what you're trying to say.

I'm not convinced that there is any fraud in this election, and won't be unless a thorough investigation is conducted. However, it is important to remember that voter fraud is nothing new in US elections, and certainly not presidential elections. JFK-Nixon 1960 is the easiest example that comes to mind. I think that any time there is a whiff of impropriety surrounding an election, it is important to have a public and transparent investigation. What truly erodes voter confidence is not a candidate calling results into question - that should be expected. It is a lack of transparency from the system itself, which should be viewed as dangerous no matter what your personal views are.
Edit for quote:
Dirksen demanded that the FBI investigate evidence that the election was stolen.
"I told him that the Department of Justice was investigating this," DeLoach recalls. "I referred him to the attorney general."
At that point, Dirksen asked, sarcastically, "Who's the attorney general?"

I never said anything either. Not sure how you got that parallel...

That's a joke, right? You're joking?

I'm frankly far less concerned by the question of whether or not fraud does / did exist in US elections than I am by the fact that so very many people, Braineack included, continue to embrace and promote the extremely binary "us vs. them" notion in electoral politics as a whole.
We are all "us," and I can't help but feel a bit like We the People have, by our own actions, created this system in which we invest so much faith and hope in one figurehead, and pour so much fear and anger into another, without pausing to recognize that the right wing and the left wing are appendages of the same bird.

No, the left has embraced that. If you don't think like them, they will silence or even harm you, your family, your livelihood. ( Read AOCs threats to Trump supporters today )
I don't ever call myself a republican. I understand why people vote for Bidens (surprisingly) and Obamas. I live with it. The Alt-Right always deals with it, under threat of violence/shows of moral superiority from leftists.
But, look at the numbers, we as a country are pretty split. One side of the table just wants to be left alone and live in peace. The other side wants to tell you how to live, and how much youre going to pay to live that way.

I'm sorry I despite socialists/communists. I survived Obama, and will survive many other shitty Presidents. My life will not change in the slightest, if at all, because of who is President.

I can't find the clip, but I remember Michael Malice saying that the two parties are essentially feuding crime families, a la Yojimbo. I basically agree with that sentiment. You're voting for who will come in and extort protection money from your business and use it to start wars with other crime families in other parts of the world.
I am basically a libertarian, but also a pragmatist. I will vote for the candidate who I believe will do the least to expand federal power for the next four years, who actually has a chance of being elected.
In a single term, Trump has managed to appoint more justices to the Supreme Court than many other presidents in two full terms.
Gorsuch, Kavanaugh and Barrett have swayed the Supreme Court further to the conservative right, and will be the point of reference for American law / justice / policy for as long as they live. (Justices are appointed for life)
The single biggest and most important function of the President is appointing a Supreme Court justice to ensure things go their way for the foreseeable future.
Looks like Biden will not be getting a chance to perform that function.
Other functions include photo ops and pardoning a turkey on thanksgiving.

You stated this rather eloquently.

I mean, I can tell you the name of the president of Turkey (though I'd probably spell it wrong without looking it up to verify), and give an extremely vague recounting of the major political events which have occurred there over the past several years, insofar as they were reported by the BBC, but that's about it.
You, my friend, give me an important sense of perspective.
