Military did this eons ago. Seems to work.
Considering the majority of people I have met, that works for me.

The 1st amendment is a right up until someone with an opposing viewpoint exercises their 1st amendment rights.

I seriously don't understand these people.

As I tell people, the first amendment means they can say what they want without being arrested. It does not mean they can say what they want without consequence from the people around them.
Perhaps I should qualify:

Other commentators were calling upon the faculty of the University to "shut down" Mr. Skinhead. (eg: abridge his right to political expression.) Since the University of Florida is a public university, funded by state and federal treasuries, the conduct of its officers falls under the limitations of the First Amendment.

That said, I completely agree that "first amendment" gets tossed around a lot, often in the context of behavior by corporations or individuals. If, for instance, I post something horribly offensive on social media, and am identifiable as an employee of Tribune Media, then Tribune has every right to tell me to cut it out or face termination.

Likewise, I have no problem at all if other people want to rally around Mr. Skinhead, call him names, insult him, insinuate that his parents were brother and sister (or a Jew and a Gypsy, or whatever), etc. I draw the line, however, at calling for physical violence against him.

The subtlety of this distinction seems to have been lost upon a group who seem unable to distinguish between "speech" and "assault" or "rape" when it comes to things which they find personally offensive.

I'm sure the same people that were barricading white people from entering colleges, or blocking people from attending the inauguration are the same protesting the strengthen of our border.

It's almost like the left isn't as morally superior as they make themselves out to be.

All this talk about subtlety and distinction seems to have been lost upon a group who seem unable to distinguish between sex and gender.

my favorite quote:

these students were taught to be peaceful ... they should not have to raise their fists, but you're putting them in that situation.

I'm just speechless. This mentality has actually become quite frightening.

From this day forward, I shall always carry a small bottle of Pamprin with me when near a University campus.

Good idea, especially considering the potential non-sis male application as well.
