cops like to "entrap" you, then just shoot you and their partner.

Cops Sell Man Drugs Then Kill Him, Shoot One of their Own Cops in the Process | Police Zero

A man is dead, and a deputy has been shot after the Putman County Sheriff’s Department relentless carries out the state’s immoral war on drugs.

The incident happened as cops were driving around in a neighborhood Friday night looking for otherwise completely innocent people to purchase their drugs, so they could arrest them. Prior to setting up and killing Anthony Andrew Williams of Hawthorne, police arrested 10 people in this entrapment scheme.

However, after Williams voluntarily bought a substance for his own personal consumption from deputies, he realized their scheme and tried to run.

According to police, Williams then took off in an SUV and swerved to avoid hitting deputies which sent him crashing into a nearby tree.

Police then claim that Williams, who just crashed because he tried to avoid hitting deputies, tried to hit the deputies. At this point, four officers began to unload their pistols at the man.

During their ridiculously violent display, these trigger happy deputies shot one of their fellow cops. Deputy Robert Nelson is currently recovering from a gunshot wound he received from his “highly trained” co-workers.

just found this slightly ironic:

44 years for a K-9 killer | KSN-TV

A man convicted of fatally stabbing a Pittsburgh police dog has been sentenced to up to 44 years in prison.

A judge said Tuesday that John Lewis Rush must also serve eight years of probation following his release.

Police say Rush stabbed the dog in the back and wounded two officers trying to arrest him in January 2014 on warrants for violating probation and failing to register as a sex offender. Rush says he stabbed the dog in self-defense.

The incident prompted state lawmakers to stiffen the penalty for harming police animals.

cops love easy targets.

A Mississippi sheriff's deputy was fired from his job in Jackson County after a YouTube video allegedly captured him yelling racist slurs and violently threatening other players in an online video game. Friday's firing of deputy Michael Slater was confirmed by Jackson news outlet The Clarion-Ledger, who learned of the deputy's threats by way of a Free Thought Project report.

chief resigns over his non-certified officers tasing a man to death, but somehow these officers are still on the job.

Coconut Creek police chief steps down in wake of stun-gun death - Sun Sentinel

Police Chief Michael Mann abruptly resigned Wednesday as fallout escalated over an incident last month in which his officers used a stun gun on an unarmed man who later died.

Also Wednesday, paperwork released by the city at the request of the Sun Sentinel showed that three of the four officers involved in the incident were not certified in the use of Tasers.

Mayor Becky Tooley said the chief agreed to leave, effective immediately, at the city manager's request.

"It was a mutual decision," said Mann, 60, who termed his departure a "retirement" after 51/2 years with the department. "I don't know how much longer I would have stayed if we hadn't had our discussion."

OFFICERS BRAWL INSIDE OHIO POLICE STATION

An argument on the job ended with two police officers coming to blows inside their police headquarters.

An Ohio patrolman delivered several knee strikes to his sergeant in the hallway.

The patrolman also needed 6 stitches on his hand.

Investigators say, they were fighting over how a traffic stop was handled earlier in the day.

Both men are facing disciplinary action.

The patrolman was already placed on paid leave.

judges hate rapist cops.

Judge throws SJPD cop accused of rape in jail - San Jose Mercury News

A San Jose police officer accused of raping a woman was handcuffed Wednesday and taken to jail in tears by four court bailiffs after the District Attorney's Office moved to charge him with new crimes that could put him in prison for life.

Officer Geoffrey Graves, 39, sobbed and said, "I love you" to his tearful father as he put his arms behind his back to be handcuffed and was taken into custody on the third day of his preliminary hearing.

Graves had been free on $100,000 bail since his arrest last March and still remains on paid administrative leave while Superior Court Judge JoAnne McCracken decides whether to hold him over for trial. He is currently facing three felony charges that could put him in prison for about 13 years: the alleged Sept. 22 rape of a woman he met on a disturbance call and two counts of domestic violence against an ex-girlfriend, who works for San Jose police as a dispatcher.

RAW VIDEO: LMPD officer chokes teen until his body goes 'limp' - WDRB 41 Louisville News

After a 13-year-old appeared to playfully push a Louisville Metro Police officer in the hallway of Olmsted Academy North in January, the officer picked the teen up by his neck and choked him until he went limp, according to a video shown in court Thursday.

The middle-schooler was then dropped to the ground, where he didn't move for more than 20 seconds.

“It was consistent with strangulation,” Sgt. Arnold Rivera testified Thursday in the assault case of Officer John Hardin, a Jefferson County Public School resource officer who has been charged with assaulting two 13-year-olds in separate incidents in January at Olmstead.

In a probable cause hearing Thursday, Rivera, with the department's public integrity unit, testified that it appears the Jan. 27 incident began with “horseplay” from the teen.

The 13-year-old told police he was trying to “chest bump” Hardin but the officer was not paying attention and lost his balance, falling on the ground, Rivera said. The teen admitted to police he laughed and clapped and then saw Hardin get up and come after him, appearing to be angry.

Hardin put his arm around the teen's neck and lifted him off the ground, the video shows. Rivera said the teen tapped Hardin's arm to try to get the officer to stop, as he couldn't breathe.

“In approximately six seconds, the child's feet stopped kicking” and he went unconscious, Rivera said.

When Hardin let go of the child, the teen fell to the floor, hitting his head and remaining still for about 20 seconds, Rivera testified. The teen stayed on the ground for about five minutes with Hardin hovering above him before the officer handcuffed him, Rivera said.

“He asked how he ended up on the ground because he didn't remember,” Rivera said of the teen. “He was crying because he thought he was going to get arrested.”

Texans "love" the constitution and cameras.

Texas Representative Proposes Bill to Make Filming the Police Illegal for Everyone But MSM | The Free Thought Project

Austin, Texas – On Tuesday, a bill was filed by Texas Representative Jason Villalba (R-Dallas), HB 2918, which would turn private citizens who film police into criminals.

The bill attempts to usurp citizens of the ability to hold law enforcement accountable for their actions by negating people’s ability to create an accurate and impartial record of police interactions.

If passed, the bill would amend the current “INTERFERENCE WITH PUBLIC DUTIES” statute (Sec. 38.15), to include language only allow filming of police (within 25ft) by “news media.”

...

Notice that private citizens, and internet based sites are not listed as qualifying as “news media,” thus allowing the marginalization of anyone that is not part of the old corporate media structure. This also means that a citizen wouldn’t be able to record their own interaction with an officer.

The law is intentionally structured in this manner as a means of controlling the narrative of police-involved incidents. Traditional news outlets often rely almost solely on police talking points when running a story involving the police. It’s extremely rare for them to allow the victim’s version of events to be part of the narrative, especially when conflicting with that of the police.

...

What is important to point out here is that a person without a camera, can be within the distance constraints as described in the legislation and will not be in violation of any law. The camera, the record of police conduct is what is made illegal in this bill. To deny that it is not a direct attack on free speech is asinine.

...

Jason Villalba
HB 2918 is meant to protect officers, NOT restrict the ability to keep them accountable. It DOES NOT prohibit filming. @TMPALegislative
Jay Syrmopoulos
@JasonVillalba @TMPALegislative It PROHIBITS citizens from filming within 25 ft of an officer, RESTRICTING ability to hold them accountable!

cops hate music videos.

Swarms of Cops with Guns Drawn, Raid Music Video Set, Unlawfully Cuff and Search Entire Cast | The Free Thought Project

n an exclusive interview with the Free Thought Project, Storm said that this police action wasn’t over a filming permit.

“It wasn’t over a permit; there were cops that drove by and saw what we were doing and said nothing,” Storm said.

While police were tight-lipped about their rights-violating free for all, Storm says he heard one of them say they were “looking for a black male.”

Apparently the nearly 20 men in attendance for the video, all must have “fit the description.”

About 30-seconds into the video, police with guns drawn swarm in on this peaceful group of people, who were only filming a video.

As multiple officers bark out different commands, the group becomes confused as to what these cops are asking them to do. Luckily no one was shot or killed for listening to one cop’s orders over another one.

At this point, around the 1:55 mark, an irate cop decides that he will take over and begins yelling like a drill sergeant at the group.

Storm tries to keep filming as long as possible until an officer takes the camera out of his hands and places it on a table. Amazingly enough, the cop who set the camera down, framed up the scene fairly well which would help to capture the rest of this shakedown on film.

Storm tells the Free Thought Project that people were placed in groups and kept separate as not to allow anyone to know what was going on. One by one these men are cuffed and searched.

Storm tells us that he’s not sure if there were any arrests.

“They placed us in different spots, not sure if everyone was let go. There was a kid who was there, they kept him until his parents could come,” Storm recalls.

cops hate searching the correct house and not shooting dogs.

Fresno Police Search Wrong House, Shoot Family?s Pet Dog | Cop Block

On December 13th 2014, Fresno Police Officers killed a family’s pet dog, after profiling a 19-year-old and his friend. Felicia Rodriguez told Cop Block Fresno that her teenage son and his friend were wrongfully detained at gunpoint while standing in front of their own home.

Responding to shots fired somewhere in the neighborhood, F.P.D. detained the boys, opening a gate to do so, and letting the families pet dog, Eazy, out of the yard. When Eazy walked out of the open gate, he came in contact with a K9 officer and did what playful dogs do. The K9’s handler shot Eazy five times, killing him in front of his family that adored the companion for seven years.

Rodriguez writes: “He didn’t charge or attack the dog nor any officers. He was never trained to be that way and he did nothing but be loveable and playful with anyone he came in contact with. While my son was detained, he had to watch helplessly while as they murdered his best friend in cold blood. “

While the teenagers were witnessing the murder of their four-legged friend from the back seats of police cars, Fresno police officers ransacked the home without consent or a search warrant. After no guns were found in the house, the boys were free to go and the police left the scene, leaving the family traumatized.
it bothers me they published families not: family's.

judges love loopholes.

Oregon man commits no crime, but held in jail for 900 days | OregonLive.com

Vasquez-Hernandez is treated like any other inmate in the Washington County Jail. But he's unlike every other inmate there.

At 897 days and counting, the 59-year-old may be the longest-held material witness in Oregon and perhaps the nation. He's waiting to testify in a murder case.

Legal experts are aware of no other witness jailed for so long. While no one appears to systematically track such cases, a law professor recalls only one similar instance - more than a century ago, in California.

In Oregon, a judge can keep material witnesses in custody until they testify, or release them pending trial. Under state law, material witness holds have no expiration, but detention typically lasts less than a week.

Civil rights advocates say a witness should never be locked up for long - certainly not more than two years. But it's not only the extraordinary length of Vasquez-Hernandez's imprisonment that disturbs them.

It's also his staggering disadvantages. He's poor. He's had no formal education and can't read or write. He's an immigrant who doesn't understand the American justice system. He's had no contact with his family.

As his days in custody have turned into months and then years, prosecutors have successfully argued that Vasquez-Hernandez's testimony is essential to their case and that he probably wouldn't show up to court if released.

His defense attorney has tried to get Vasquez-Hernandez out, devising a plan to take his sworn statement in a deposition so a judge could free him.
