Build ships, dominate the winter olympics, have one of the highest standards of living in europe, one of the original nato alliance members, black metal, spread our viking seed all over the world, etc... I knew a bunch of rich Turks that went to UVA. They got pulled over once for suspicion of DUI, had no drivers licenses and they tried to buy off the cop, cause that's how they over there. luckily, the cop thought it was hilarious and let them off, maybe he took the cash.

You know what really cracks me up about the whole sad thing?
When I first heard about it, it was not a Mosque 2 blocks from the site of the WTC.
It was A MOSQUE ON GROUND ZERO!!!!!!!!12!!!!omgwtf!!!!1
Then is was "near ground zero". And now its two ******* blocks away.
I have yet to hear a single valid reason why it should not be allowed.

Most truly religious people will look at that situation with a bit of balance. They are not exactly happy about it, but on the other hand it does put a house of god right when the sin is, which is partially what the bible says you should do.
