Frankly, I win a lot with Obeezy: pro-choice, keep my jerb, reproductive rights, gay monogomy, and I can at least tolerate the sound of his voice. I lost my ability to buy an AR, my currency will be significantly devalued, commodity prices will go up, cars will continue to be more shitty, and at some point I'll pay more in taxes because either I'll be rich or he'll come for more tax revenue from me. My idea of America is not dormatory living with public transportation, that's where we're headed.

With Romneybot there was no chance of fiscal conservatism, he's a right-wing-wacko with eleventy children and things god is coming on a space-ship for him, and I probably could not tolerate him for another term.

I wish Republicans would stop thinking they have embody religious extremism to win votes from whack-jobs. However, we'll never see a candidate that wants to reduce total spending and that's the long and short of our future as a nation.

All I want from a president is someone who can keep my taxes low enough that I can afford a modest home, a racecar, a van, and a modest retirement while not compromise my ideology of celbrating free thought.

What's weird is that they chose a candidate whose religious views make everyone uncomfortable. If they'd picked Mike Huckabee? Okay, sure, makes sense. It's a big middle finger to the liberal Dems, and pandering to the religious right. But Romney just never made sense at all.

Faeflora 11-07-2012 01:52 PM

Yes, seriously thank fucking fuck that there is no Mormon as chef of state pgz

It makes me proud that both candidates went to my family's alma matter

HLS wins no matter what. Eat dicks Yale

Sorry, due to the nature of our governmening documents including the Bill of Rights, selected a religious figure as our leader is repugnant to the same degree that selecting me to lead your congregation in decision making and spending is equally absurd.

If you took the money out of the deal, I'd like Obeezy a lot aside from his views on guns. There are simply too many unemployed people recieving free money. No one fucking works.

FEMA is becoming a bigger problem by the minute, it's time to reduce spending in all FEMA programs because what we're doing cannot be sustained. Wtih the Sandy NFIP insurance claims, NFIP is $3b short of solvency and must request money from congress again. It's time to move people away from the places the government cannot afford for them to live.

I am not moving there because of their political system. It has always been a destination that I wanted to live in for a while. I even said I am not moving away from here because I can't handle the politics it was more of an event trigger I guess. If our system is heading in the same direction as Australia and Europe and many other countries I might as well move around a bit and see the world while I am young without a family. There is nothing keeping me here anymore.

EDIT: It is funny that the only things on that picture that godspeed posted that I oppose are no guns and universal healthcare. I am not a stereotypical republican. Fiscally conservative, and then I lean whichever way on social issues infringe the least on the ability to choose (Libertarian would probably be the closest).

No, you're moving there because you're a trendy floridian ------.

jeff_man 11-07-2012 03:02 PM

Some one just told me well Rmoney got about 50% of the vote.

Ryan_G 11-07-2012 03:03 PM

lol really? I was unaware Florida was trendy. I thought that was Cali and NY.

Enginerd 11-07-2012 03:25 PM

Anyone use electronic voting? I did and the line took forever versus the paper voters. I got in the both and 2 minutes later came out. Some folks were in there over ten minutes and half the seats were uncontested!

Faeflora 11-07-2012 03:33 PM

It took me five minutes to vote and i did electronic

Screaming04 11-07-2012 04:10 PM

Australia doesn't welcome foreign workers. They also have a big a$$ moat.

Ron Paul is a religious extremist, but his religion is fixed exchange rates and Austrian economics. Those sound good on the surface, but most everyone would be disappointed with his economics if he managed to get any of it implemented in actuality.

The guy most of us probably would have preferred was Governor Mitt Romney. Unfortunately, he was replaced with Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney through the two party primary system.

I'm just waiting for Rand to run. I like his curly orange locks.

Sometimes, when I see him, I think he looks like Gary Cooper. and then I wish he'd take me like I was Patricia Neal.

All the guys down at the shop are depressed with the outcome, as are we. As small business owners, this current government administration is killing us. Some of us keep fighting no matter how hard they try to fuck us, but you can only fight for so long.

I know 2 guys in particular that may close up shop after this year is up. Not because they want to, or because the works not out there, but more so because they can. They have enough money to live their lives without the headaches and without giving their earnings to the government, only in turn to watch them give it to all the losers that don't earn it.

Personally, I'm going to make money regardless. Everyone said construction was dead and the worst field to be in. I found that with a little tweaking of our business we've been able to get new customers, with good jobs and keep afloat while in a "bad" economy.

Fuck the losers that want nothing out of life and need that government tit. Let them fail so hard that they HAVE to figure it out. Stop taking from the working guys and giving it to the scumbags! :vash:
