I thought it was "Pasties used in entrapment". I was intrigued to say the least.

Timothy McVeigh was discharge from the Army in May, 1992. He was filmed on accident at Camp Graff, North Dakota in August 1993. Camp Graff deals in explosives training.

In April 1995 a pilot was filming his flight training. As he passed over Camp Gruber-Braggs, Ok, he filmed a Ryder Truck parked in the motor pool on base. The van was parked in the same spot other vehicle's park when they are in for repair. The van was the same make/model/size as the one used in the bombing.

You can't make this **** up.

I'm a bit surprised that someone from the mideast knows what a pastie is.

You mean that the US Army and/or its employees occasionally rent moving trucks from one of the three major, nation-wide firms in the US which specialize in the renting of moving trucks?

Unbelievable.

Of course they do. The location of the truck was just really weird taking into account what happened a couple of days later.

I'm thinking of the kind that go over boobies, not the breaded food.

It might be, or it might not be. The determining factor would be whether the presence of rental trucks at US Army Reserve bases is a relatively common occurrence or whether it is unusual.

I just did a quick flyover of USMC Camp Pendleton using Google Maps and saw several vehicles which appear to be rental trucks. (Someone also has their fishing boat on a trailer parked across the street from the MLG building. So be on the lookout for terrorists in fishing boats.)

From what I read it was DEA. The Qods approached an undercover agent with the Mexican drug cartel. I'm sure he then notified the FBI.

But honestly I haven't read too much into that. And I'm sure not even 5% of the details have been/will be released to the public.

Most of the larger bases have been blurred horribly. A quick look at Fort Drum where I was stationed shows nothing but large blobs when you get close.

I'm too lazy to look at smaller bases motor pools, but a moving van in a motor pool is not uncommon.

Stop it, they don't like reason.

But seriously, people are always moving onto/off of military bases, it would stand to reason that there would be rented trucks around.
