(I know this sounds "immature", but seriously...think about all the effort going into one frigging car that one person has worked so hard to get...then think of all the illegals that come here, get away with murder and are handed money on a silver platter. DHS is a joke that was contructed to hush the Ameican people after 911 but was really setup to waste money and resources.)

Honestly, I am with you, I think just taking every damn part off of it and giving them the frame would be best. Then you can get mad McGruber and weld your skyline onto some poor unsuspecting 240. Win. I honestly think this is a huge waste of government money. The department of homeland security is a useless organization that needs to be disbanded, along with the TSA. Glad to see our national debt is being put into good use.

TYRANNY VIA ADMINISTRATIVE LAW.
I know someone who got a "you gotta take it to a referee" ticket for a CARB-LEGAL s/c kit for his Focus, just because the cop didn't believe him that it was all legit. It passed, but he still had to pay the $600 fee.
A bureaucracy decides you are guilty, until you prove your innocence, AT YOUR EXPENSE. The IRS for example, operates this way.
This is the thing that erodes the freedom of the average schmoe the most in this country. Not the Patriot Act (though I hate it), not the "free speech zones".

STATISTS believe that the gov't should rule over the individual. Socialists are a type of statist, that believes in re-distribution of wealth.
The question then is, where does the legitimacy of gov't come from?
Fundamentally, statists believe that the gov't knows better than the rest of us.
Social Democrats believe that the legitimacy comes from popular vote (e.g. 51% of the population think the speed limits should be 65 mph).
Statists can fully support one law, and be enraged by another. They all want the laws to "be a certain way", instead of "leave everyone the **** alone". Statists all want to impose their will on others.
mcarp22, the joke was pretty funny, but my post is in reference to the link wherein the Skyline guy refers to the "illegals" issue.

I have been saying it for a good amount of time that there is going to be another revaluation in this country. The more years that pass the more it seams that it will be a reality one day.

The debt + unfunded liabilities for the next 30 years, per taxpayer, is > $1 Million each. Unpayable. The only way out is insolvency and default.
I hope that the end result is de-centralization of power and invocation of the 10th Amendment.

yup, and its not to micromanage my life.
I think it will come when the printing presses really fire up and we get some inflation. I think we are seeing it a little now with gas, but IMHO the wall street guys are using the middle east as an excuse to cover up the fact that a dolor is not worth crap anymore.
