1.6 External wastegate turbo manifold options
#22
Excuse me, but are these dumb clueless questions and statements seriously being asked/stated by a CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL TUNER WHO TUNED 30+ Miata’s in his area?!
from your very first post you were a clueless mattman/broke n boosted fanboi. Should’ve at least done enough research to not be so blatant and at least appear like you know what you’re doing
What’s funnier is that just about every single noob who claimed to know something ended up being more clueless than your average high school sanceboi

You know you dont need to be such an a**
I have researched options. I wanted to stay with a t3 turbocharger and get a ball bearing turbo. I am up hauled at how rude some of you can be. I am a fan of such projects, we all should be. They show you can do alot with a little. Also funny you decided to track this post down just to be a dick.
Thanks have a wonderful day.

Well, just asked a simple question, in regards to my tuning, had zero issues with any of my clients, no blown up cars, no knocking, no issues. Thank you all for your daily dose of flaming to keep me on my toes!

You can tell the FB swagboiiz you've tuned over 9,000 cars, but when you're in here asking the simplest, most n00bish questions, stating the most ignorant things in a long time, and demonstrating the fact that the extent of your knowledge ends with some n00b's youtube channel made for even bigger n00bs, you best believe we're gonna call you out on it.
This just in: the 1.6 is horrendous for making big power. Mattman's trap speed at the track indicate's he's not even making over 400, much less 500, and craig/greg/kreghh/whatever of broke-n-boosted didn't make 300 either.
oh and this just in: ball bearing turbo's are not all T3 flanged. I know, shocker. More at 5PM cupcake

Well matt's dyno sheets show different. I know broke and boosted didnt make close to 300, I wouldnt expect it to, I wanted a t3 flanged turbo to not have to buy a whole new manifold, but if thats what needs to happen to make the power I want then so be it. Being demeaning is no way to share knowledge. moderator or not. YES the 1.6 doesn't enjoy making big power. However it can be done and I intend to do so. I will post dyno graphs when I get the manifold situation sorted out to hush you 1.8 boyz up happy boosting

Dyno sheets mean diddly if you have something to prove. You'll need time slips.
Edit: I get it now. Once you realized you didn't need EWG you wanted to use the manifold you have now. Good luck man. You're really gonna need it.

No one has so far hushed the 1.8 boys up. Dozens have tried, and failed miserably, everyone's on the verge of awesomeness, and....just.....doesn't.....quite....get there. Mattman with a gajillion dollars in his engine bay made a fake 500 running diesel levels of boost, and still trapped less than what an honest 400whp 1.8 does. This is common knowledge here had you dome some homework.
I'm bowing out now cause this is getting boring, carry on cupcake

Just wondering, because Matt's car is one of the slower 400hp Miatas i've seen. Oh, did i say 400hp? Because i meant 400hp.
Is your car done yet? Or are there more questions you want to ask for the sake of arguing with the answers?
