1999 T3 turbo build (First timer)
Are you planning on screwing that oil pressure sender right into the side of the engine? If so there's a good chance that it'll fracture that arrangement of thread adapters and leave a nice hole in the side of the engine for the oil pump to blast all your oil out of. Use a bit of flexible hose, make a little bracket and mount the pressure sender onto the chassis then connect it to the engine.
Here are links to the Ebay wastegate options I mentioned earlier. The one that uses the V-band might make it easier to build a custom downpipe seems like it would flow a lot beter than machining what's on your turbo now. The other I think might be usable with the BEGI cast manifold and downpipe. Might be worth checking out.

Just out of curiosity, it looks like you could add a brace from your block to that tab on the bottom side of the bearing I wonder if that would prolong the life of your OBX manifold?

there's a cheaper v-band outlet out there. My chinacharger came with one...they sell for $40.
all the bracing in the world cannot solve this issue of using aluminum foil tubing.

The bracing was just a thought, If it were me I would go with the BEGI cast with the t3 flange.
I checked FM and i didn't see any T3 flanged manifolds, do they make one?
I went back to ebay, just searched T3 instead of Garrett T3,
this with a EWG might be an option, BEGI has both the cast and S6 manifolds with T3 flange and EWG, just looking for options for you trick2789.

Well the A/F ratio gauge and O2 sensor kit came in today. Personally I like analog gauges better than digital, so I went with the AEM UEGO kit. Picked it up for $199.00 no tax free shipping.
I would look into JGS for a manifold. They hold up very well, not the best flowing design but id bet it will work just as good as begis cast manifold and its slightly cheaper.

Well the piece of **** OBX manifold came in and the ******* thing puts my compressor inlet right on the power steering pump and the outlet right on the frame.......damn it! So I admit, I was a dumbass and tried to take the cheap way out, now I will have wasted $80 after I ship it back and pay the restocking fee. Good news is I will be getting the BEGi cast manifold so I shouldn't have any problems with that. The intercooler kit came in as well so I will probably install what I can today and post up my progress this afternoon.
Hey man, don't worry - if you are like me (and most other people on this forum) you just have to budget 10% of the build to dumb mistakes.
Let's see some pics of the build.

When I bought my 94 it was very poorly boosted. It had one of those SS tubular crap manifolds. It of course cracked, I fixed it, it cracked, I braced it, it cracked. I ordered an M-Tuned manifold. Waited 2 and a half weeks and got a call saying they're discontinuing it. They refunded my money. I had the turbo and was really wanting to get the car on the road. So I got out the grinder and the welder and made it happen.
Don't mind the hose clamp, lol I ran out of the nifty ties to hold the heat wrap on.
It is now a top mount T3 manifold with a GT30. Since the weight is now more firmly pressed on and not hanging it distributes the weight better. I'm going to also create a brace to the car to help support it. Spending the extra 80 dollars to return it and get a real manifold was a good idea. I've spent way to much time on a manifold i'm still not happy with.

I had similar issues with mine in not finding a manifold.
Luckily a buddy threw the towel on his setup and my hands on a custom good one.
I am looking for a site that sells the custom manifolds, but cannot find it at this time.
Here is a link of one I found online, it may help... http://www.braeautofab.com/

Well I have been really busy at work and haven't had much time to post. The install and all the fabrication is done now and the car is running. I had purchased a reducer from Summit Racing, it was a 3 ply turbo reducer, but it was very poorly constructed and blew a hole the first time I hot boost. I am only running 3-4 psi now due to the massive boost leak. I have ordered a new reducer that should do the trick.
I also fabricated a new midpipe and center exit exhaust. They seem to flow pretty well and it sounds great to me. I have a Flowmaster super 44 muffler and a straight midpipe with no cat or resonator. I will record a sound clip and post it once the boost leak is fixed
Here are some update pics:

I will be making heat shields today so I will post again this afternoon to show more progress.
