Which GT2871?

There are 3 trim options for the compressor, and at least 2 turbines and 2 a/rs:

You can usually tell from the compressor housing. There is only 1 turbine option and 2 compressor options. Not sure where you see different turbines in there...

Neo, I think you can get it with a T3 housing in .63 or .82. Too lazy to actually check, though.

Big A/R is magical.
i also have 0.86 and it works well. boost hits like a wall

correct. BRGRacer has a .48 A/R T3 housing on his 2871.

You should have gone with VVT. watch that 3200 rpm number get smaller when he gets his isht on a dyno.

I'd love to see a test of how comparable the .48 T3 is to the .64 T25, and the .63 T3 to the .86 T25.

I think that's the exact term I used when I found out my boost protection was set at 1.5psi after the install...

sorry. ive been saying that for a while.

it comes on like its just nothing, and then your at peak boost. (inverse of hitting a wall)
