Tial calls it a gt25/gt28 housing

TiAL Sport.com

Tim, have you tried to mate it to a gt25. The wheel exducer is the same diameter, the inducer is only .8mm smaller. 53mm vs 53.8mm, but that's not important. As far as I'm concerned gt25/gt28's use the same turbine housing.

hmm..I am thinking about getting one now. If I can use it for both GT25 and GT28. I am planning to upgrade to GT2871R later

fuuuuuu

The Absurdflow downpipes alone are so sexy and with the Vbands thrown in. Time to save them pennies.

Would that work?
Yep. You have to deal with oil drain and a solution for the lower radiator hose.

Noooo nonono noooo exducer is wayyy different diameter. About a 1/4 inch eyeballing it (I didn't measure each when I had them both..dumb). Looks like the Garrett casting is the same for both, but the machining for the turbine wheel is different, at least.

I'm think you (I) can machine a v-band out of a T2 inlet, but in that case you'd still be stuck with the standard outlet and cast iron.

You're right, sorry for getting everyones hopes up. GT2560= 2.09” inducer/ 1.64” exducer, GT2860= 2.12” inducer/ 1.85” exducer

What's the deal with Tial? I've seen the same thing advertised as gt25/28 on several other websites...copied from theirs I'm sure.
