Okay, so this is probably dumb and I'm missing something obvious, but I'll ask anyway.

I've got the AIT sensor and bung.

This is as far as it screws in before I meet resistance.



It seems like it has some sort of thread lock or I dunno what on the threads that stops it from screwing in further.



I guess I'm just wondering, do I just snug it up at that point you see in the first pic? Am I missing something here? I really don't want to mess something up.

 

weld the bung on, snug the sensor on, go drive.
