Downstream is not rear.

This is downstream:

True equal length design manifold constructed from T304 SS . A very important aspect of the downstream -or low mount- design is that it allows to develop a high flowing 3” downpipe with only two very low angle bends.

This, among other design aspects, greatly contributes to the very quick turbo spool-up and high overall power output. It has been extensively tested and found to yield exceptionally good results.

Isn't that called a downturn manifold, not a downstream manifold? That may be where the confusion is coming from

Since there are no upturn manifolds -that I know off- I called it downstream. In my case I may be a couple of inches lower as needed to achieve perfect equal length runners with as little bending as possible.

That sway bar endlink brace used on the pic above is pretty damn smart.

Its called a turn buckle. BEGi kits come with them, but they are located on the bottom of the turbo.
