Is anybody finished?
When I feel like I can afford 285/30-18 front and 315/30-18 rear track tires, I'll buy a Corvette and stop wasting my time with a Miata. But since I like living in a house and want to retire one day, I'll probably keep burning up tiny Falkens for a few more years.
I have yet to see the perfect car. Something is always wrong, too heavy, wrong suspension, too many seats, engine in wrong place, wrong engine, you name it. The Miata is really close but as long as there are areas to improve and parts for it then no..
Will never be done, it's just simply impossible imo.

I'll never be done with mine. As soon as I get set on something I will either change my mind or something will break and have to be replaced with something bigger and better...
The current Miata still needs:
- Fenders rolled
- Larger rear rubber
- Hardtop
- Minor tuning tweaks
Then this one will be "finished". (And subsequently driven until either (a) it gets totalled or (b) is willed to one of my grandchildren...)
Which is why after the above is accomplished it will be time for a trailer and some choice racing events.
Once the budget recovers (read the kids move out of the house), I'll start on the V8 installation in another Miata...
